Impressed -

Christian Ponder - I'm impressed that he hasn't thrown 20 INTs yet.

Colin Kaepernick - I'm impressed that he restrained himself from visiting a Seattle tattoo parlour during the one hour weather delay during the Seahawks game.

Frustrated -

Tom Brady - After being pampered for years as 'one of the greatest QBs ever/Mr GQ/Captain America' he has a completely suckful performance against the Jets in which he has his worst completion % in a game since 2002. Brady then throws a tantrum on the sideline like a petulant child. He really needs to cheer up, it could be worse, Belichick could ask him to do a wife swap with Vince Wilfork.

He has NO BUSINESS on that field. I can't understand why he hasn't been replaced.
They have no one to replace him.

What's really frustrating is watching teams like Denver. They have had changes at qb, head coach, front office, wide receiver etc. and they still come up smelling like roses.

What has disapointed you guys about lacy? I didnt think he looked too good early in preseason but regular season hes turned it on.. And you cant really take much from today aside from he had quick burst on his run n fought for a first then took a cheap shot that i guarantee woulda ko'd any of you talkin bad about him...

And thats coming from a hawks fan that really dislikes the packers.

The wilson criticism...... You must be outside your mind... Did u watch any of last weeks game? Any other qb woulda been sacked prolly 7-8 times that game n he managed to throw for over 300 yards under constant duress throwing on the run. Silly talk.

Kendall wright impressed me today..

Walter thurmond iii has been stellar for us so far with browner out... He is as legit as they come if he can finally put an injury free season together.

Pierce has looked good.

Carolinas d line was great last week.

Chris givens is very underrated.

Josh wilson has been all over the place for the skins despite their defense blowing.

Carson palmer.. Hes been same old palmer throws for a ton of yards n has some bad ints.. But arizona is no longer a gimme as theyve had a pretty goid defense just no resemblance of an offense til now.. Oh n mendenhall has surprised me too.

Ej manuel.. Im an fsu alum n thought he was gona be another tarvaris jackson as he could never put the team on his back put it all together n make it happen when fsu was struggling but damn if he didnt do that today despite a little help.

Tavon austin.. Hes been deadly in the redzone.

Alex smith.. Kc lookin like a decent team.

Thats enough for now

DB of the Redskins. They can't tackle or cover a WR .

As Gisele said " (he) can not f****ing throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time." His receivers aside from Edelman and Amendola aren't helping him out and now with Amendola out for a month+ it's only going to be Edelman and having Edelman as your #1 isn't a good sign for any QB. Hopefully Gronk can return soon if he is healthy. You can't blame him for being frustrated at his teammates if they run the wrong/ incomplete route or drop a pass.

Impressed with DeAndre Hopkins, E.J. Manuel, DeSean Jackson (actually consistent this year) and Ryan Tannenhill...

Disappointed with Eagles defense, David Wilson and all the Washington Redskins.

Not a single person on this thread mentioned Jordy Nelson.

Missed the whole preseason due to knee surgery, yet doesn't miss a beat.

I hate you all.

obviously disappointed in Redskins overall.

i spent a lot on some rg3 cards but do not mind - i am a fan and i think he will turn it around. they are staying in my collection until the end of time, so i am enjoying them as much as always.

that said, expectations that were lowered last monday night need to be completely readjusted. keep griffin healthy this season, let him improve as a player all around (and i dont mean just keep him in the pocket - let him do everything he does best), and hope that we can add more to the team next year when there are finally none of the (still preposterous) salary cap deductions.

this team, especially on defense, is so much further behind than even the most homery of homers (i.e. people like me) wanted to believe. there are pieces that can be built around - rg3 is still one, alfred morris got going a bit yesterday (granted, once the packers only had to play the pass), jordan reed looks like a keeper, garcon is a quality upper tier starting wr, and trent williams looks good.

but talent in the secondary and lack of impact players at ilb is killing them. london fletcher is one of my favorite players of all time and the one free agent signing by the redskins no one can ever trash, but he is just not an impact player any longer. he is a great leader and will make tackles and give maximum effort 7 days a week, but his explosion and game changing ability seems gone.

that said, last year it looked gone the first half of the season and he led the turnaround with a career year intercepting the ball. hopefully that happens again, but i am not confident. ill still wear the 59 jersey every week, but we need to look to the future sooner than later to find a bigtime ilb to go alongside perry riley (who looks serviceable and shows flashes, but is overall inconsistent).

the secondary is...it is what it is. it is awful, and haslett consisently being a step behind doesnt help.

tl;dr version: the redskins kind of suck, it is suprising to me because im a homer but it also isnt suprising, and i think rg3 can still turn it around and make good progress this year.

Impressed:
Philip Rivers...wow, it actually looks like figured out how to throw a ball to a person wearing the same jersey style as his.

Unimpressed:
Denver Broncos RBs... soon teams will figure out to only rush 4 and drop 7 into pass coverage. Maybe these guys should buy a #@#@#@#@ load of stick em'. So tempted to sell off my Ronnie Hillman and Montee Ball cards. These guys are horrible.

Disgusted with: Josh Failman and coach Schiano!
Always impressed with: Doug Martin, Darelle Revis and Lavonte David

Outside the bucs the only rookie that seems to be making noise is E.J. Manuel

Really loving the Seahawks this year more than likely superbowl time for them!
