Default Addressing the issue:

I would like to address some issues that have been discussed today. I am not running away as some have said and I was at the show (past the 6:00 closing time: contrary to popular belief).

1) Arcia. The card was purchased in the linked auction. Condition was bad so I decided to play around with it. NO INTENTION to sell. Well then I was suggested to submit for grading for "sh*ts and giggles." So I wrongfully did that and it did come back as an 8. I wrongfully decided to list it. I received one offer as a joke from a buddy. I did not post it on Blowout because I knew it wouldn't sell and it would be a shitfest.

2) Besides the one member going on and on about issues with me, what other evidence does anybody have of me "stealing" or "switching" cards. On the very few times someone grades with me, I do not allow any card that cannot be proven theirs; unless I'm not sending any if the same to confuse things. (if serial # it's self explanatory. If non# auto then pictures would be taken).

Back to the "stealing" and "switching."
-The member failed to address the fact that the box was re-taped up by USPS and marked as resealed by them. He also would stress the fact to NOT insure his cards. That shipment contained multiple red ref autos and superfractors. Thousands and thousands of dollars worth of his cards have crossed my hands and not one issue. If I were to steal something, it'd be of more significant value. Not to mention I worked something out with him to cover the loss.
-switching cards: never had any in incident with that so not sure where that came from.

3) closing up and running out of the show: i was there 30 min past close. The member who I split half of the table with was not able to make it today. Maybe his stacked showcases made it look like I was gone. I will also be there all day tomorrow. Feel free to monitor. I am set up with multiple blowout members who would love to confirm. Also a known sh*ttalker who fails to back things up.

4) My collections worth and my age. For that to even be mentioned is just stupid. All these "stolen" cards really add up especially when the total worth of the "stolen" cards is maybe $100. I have a job believe it or not. I also snowball pretty much all the $ from cards back into cards.

5) other "altered" cards that I've allegedly sold. NONE. Oscar taveras non autod card was graded a 9.5 and slabbed with "missing auto". Was sold on eBay and I can provide proof upon request. Comparing that to another one in my bucket is silly. Sam selman blue wave auto 10. I have a picture of the 10 and a picture of the one I won on auction. Although both cards are gone, I was able to get pics of the 10/10. Will also post upon request.

So although I was wrong on the Arcia, I never have scammed or stolen anything. Not to mention, the only member saying these things is no perfect soul. I have had multiple issues from his end as well, but that's not the main worry.

I do local shows quite often... so being the alleged scammer that I am, it's not the smartest to be known personally and talk to multiple members daily.

Feel free to ask about any issues not mentioned. Also feel free to talk to me at the National. Table 379.

Any immature/irrelevant post will be ignored and I will not be in contact with anybody looking for an online fight, or the member going on and on about me.

For any that choose not to associate with me again, thanks for any deals we've done in the past.

To close it out, I would like to apologize for letting the Arcia issue get out of hand and causing this mess. Although it was never sold or offered to anyone, it was uncalled for.

Thanks for the long read, have a good weekend.
Mike

EDIT: I also talked to a mod face to face today about the issue.

You still listed it on eBay. As a joke or not, that was completely wrong.

No intention to sell...yet you get it graded and list it on ebay. Seems legit.

Over/under 10 pages? Probably doesn't even matter. Thread will get locked or deleted anyways.

Mike, if you have so many high-end cards go through your hands on a regular basis, whether they are yours or someone else's, the bottom line should be that...

....you knew better!

You've been here for the Haiku fiasco, and numerous other scams that have gone on here. For you to do something like this for Sh!ts & Giggles, as you say, is ridiculous. This whole thread sounds like the things you were able to come up with as your execuses. If not, you would have mentioned an explanation much sooner. I've lost all trust in you.

Shame on you.

Well if it was all for sh!ts and giggles, you should have stated that in the other thread rather then making yourself look bad with the two snarky comments you made. It made yourself look worse in the situation. I have no horse in this race but hopefully what your saying is true and eventually this will be forgotten (well, maybe)

sheets and giggles don't add up...who does that??? no one, unless your gonna sell it...just all seems so fishy especially considering your snide comments earlier. seems like you didn't expect this kind of backlash with your rep..which is blown to hell for sheets and giggles.

Did you happen to tell BGS it was for giggles? Not sure they find it so funny. Stupid move. Personally I think you should have thought about some of these issues. Nowhere in the Ebay listing did you state this was some kind of joke either. I think you should be banned from here at least, so you have some consequence for you actions.

How about lying about pulling it from a pack? Pretty shady, IMO. If it was all a joke, you should have stated it then instead of big-leaguing everybody and then coming out with this 12 hours later.

But you chose to lie ... and now are suggesting that because I didn't request insurance on a package you sent (and sent poorly), I am to blame. Just as you did then / your defense is I should have paid for protection, rather than you shipping securely.

Mike / you tried to run a scam / you got caught. It's that simple. We both know if a $100 offer came across eBay, you would have accepted and sold that Arcia in a second, and no one would be the wiser. You had over a month to do this ... and through each step, you decided to take it one step further.

Justify it anyway you want to, it's scum like you that make people leave this hobby, make people lose faith in other people, and close people off to trusting others. Shame on you.

No way. Not buying it.

You went through too many lies to try and make the card seem real, so you could sell it.

A ban can be possible. But I didn't try to sell it here and the card was never mentioned by me here. Whatever blowout decides is up to them

So if Haiku were to go on SCF, he would be allowed? Just because he didn't do anything shady on there? It doesn't matter where you tried to sell it, you tried to sell it.

You either lied earlier or you lied in this OP. Why should anyone believe you now?

Come on, take it like a man, you messed up, move on! Stop answering questions, it will only get worse for you and each thing you say isn't believable. Fold up your table, sit on your cards and think about what you did. Finish this now!

I did not "allege". I questioned both cards because of the information we had about Arcia. I would have edited my post about the Selman because of information I found right after, but the mods locked the thread.

I'm glad that you replied. I mentioned at the start that you should have held off or stepped away from your booth immediately. Your first 2 responses were lacking and you would concur.

With that being said, I would like to hold off on any further judgement in order to see the results of the discussion you have with NeedChapmans.
