Mike Bibby SUPER COLLECTOR Rookies 100% COMPLETE!! (Heavy Scan 1of2)

So here is just the beginning of my SUPER COLLECTION. I have focused on Mike Bibby cards in and out since 1997. I'm getting ready to submit the collection to Beckett to try and get in as a Super Collector. I focus on everything there is 2 or more of, (do have 1/1's and Printing Plates of course), but do not go after them. My need list of everything made of Mike- 2 or more of is finally down to 164 total. It has been an amazing road following Bibby throughout the years from winning a championship in 97 with UofA, then being #2 Draft Pick (should have been #1!!!, Who is Michael Olowokandi? SMH!) Then getting cheated out of his ring in the Western Conference Finals in 2002 vs. the Lakers! Anyway, it's been great watching him through his career and even funner collecting this amazing collection I have put together throughout the years. Here is just a small portion of it with his 1998-99 Rookie Year Cards which is finally 100% COMPLETE!!! I hope everyone can enjoy the time and money put into this collection just a fraction of what I do. Please let me know what you think, and be sure to keep an eye out for more posts of the collection. I have roughly 9,750 Bibby cards with soooo many nice patches, autos, jersey #ed cards, 1/1s, rare stuff. Awesome, man. As a Webber collector, I love seeing this. Watching those two play together was some of the best hoops I've ever seen....I'm a little biased of course. Those Sacramento teams were so electrifying back in the day. Do you have a photobucket or a link to scans of your entire collection? I'd love to see it.

Also, as being selected for last September's Beckett Super Collector issue for my CWebb pc, I can tell you that you are in for sure if the rest of your collection is at least 70%+ for all the other years. Multiples really help as well, which you have plenty of. It was an amazing experience for me to get selected, so I wish you all the best.

Yes I have since day 1... My dad got me into UofA basketball at a young age (being born in Tucson also helps...) Do you have any rare Bibby cards you are looking to get rid of? I would love to see them. Thanks!!

Thank you very much and congrats on being selected for that amazing accomplishment! I agree with you on the Kings teams back in the day, and seeing Bibby and Webber play together was very impressive! I'd say right now I'm between 85-90% of Bibby's cards, so once I get everything finalized and accounted for I will submit to Beckett and hope to join you among the elite collectors.

As for the rest of the collection I will slowly be scanning and showcasing it (but not as detailed as I did here with the rookies.) I'm going to get on the Exquisite cards next, then to jersey #ed 10 cards, then sweet patches and rare stuff! And I must say those 2 dual patches you have there are intense! I have only seen the one /25 one other time and didn't have the funds at the time to get it. So I need BOTH of those and have never seen the one /5... For sale or trade?? Had to ask lol... Thanks for showing me them- they are beauties! Thanks again for everything and please be on the lookout for future posts with more gems from my collection!!

They generally showcase someone in each monthly magazine. But for the last couple years, the September issue of Beckett Sports Cards Monthly, has been named The Super Collector Issue and they showcase a dozen or so guys.

Yes sir I am Mike Bibby.....'s biggest card collector lol... But funny story I did meet him a couple months ago out here and had some super rare items signed by him. Super cool dude and talked with my son like he knew he for years!!



A sweet stencil painting my buddy did of Bibby cutting the nets from championship at UofA... Bibby personally asked to have this... I said sign it and I'll get you another one lol!
