Default Question about a eBay buyer from Taiwan

Question #1
I have a couple of cards for sale right now on eBay and I have someone that is interested in one of the cards. I wanted to know if anybody has ever dealt with this buyer before . His feed back looks really good but I just wanted to know if anybody on here has ever had any transaction with him. He is from Taiwan his eBay user I.D. is ape_2006_go.

Question #2
If I do decide to sell the card to him what is the best way to ship the card. I never really shipped outside the U.S. before. I want to ship it insured, with signature conformation and tracking if possible. Who is safer to ship with USPS or FEDX for overseas shipping.

Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

USPS EMS shipping with insurance will protect you more than any other shipping service internationally. Costs about $40+ or so with insurance

it depends on the value of the card because shipping could run $50+ for that kind of service. If he has a ton of positive feedback, sometimes you just have to send regular first class and trust that people arent trying to screw you

^^value of the card is important. If the card is worth less than $50 it doesnt make much sense shipping with high costs. I would go with the global shipping program offered through eBay. All of your costs and responsibility will be domestic (Taiwan is included). Here is a link....
Using the Global Shipping Program

Thank for the help guys.

The card value is about $450 but I might declare the value at $400 to save on insurance. I will email him with the details for shipping and if he is willing to pay for the shipping cost then I will give it a shot. I just want to make sure I am insured. And his feed back is 5571 with only 6 negatives. He looks to be legit.

Use Paypal and use priority shipping with ebay insurance. It will run about $35...easiest and best way to ship...

Doesn't ebay have global shipping now to cover you if something goes wrong?

Sellers can't leave negatives, so that point is completely moot.

Protect yourself at all costs. Ship express with full tracking, signature required and insurance. Not saying any particular buyer is untrustworthy, but there are A LOT of people in Asia and it's easy for things to go missing....
