Hey everyone. I'm sort of new around here. I've been lurking since I got back into the hobby a few months ago and have been especially enjoying the box and case break posts.
I finally have a question so I thought I would post since all of you seem pretty knowledgeable. The last few days I've picked up some loose packs of 2010 Topps at my local Target and I am really digging the the exclusive red back minis. Today I saw they had finally received some blasters. I didn't buy one though because it didn't have an insertion ratio for the red backs on the box. Has anyone here found these in their blaster or are these Target exclusive cards exclusive to the loose packs. Thanks guys. I hope to be hanging out here more in the future. |

I have only bought one blaster of it, but it didn't have any red back minis in it.

I don't think they've got the red back minis in the blasters because they've got the two packs of throwback cards and the patch. I've busted a couple so far and no minis.

I got two patch cards in my blaster - a Marichal '67 All-Star game patch, and a Texeira Yankee Stadium Inaugural Season patch. The Texeira has significant glue damage in the top right corner, so it's pretty much worthless. Damn shame too, since I saw one sold on ebay for $30+

I have only seen the red back minis advertised on the loose pack feeders in Target, but I'm not sure if that means they aren't available in the blasters or not. I have bought two loose packs & pulled one Chipper Jones red back mini.

The UPC codes for the 'normal' packs are the same in the Wal*Mart and Target blasters. This leads me to believe there are no minis in them. They might appear in the retro back/black background packs however.

I've bought a lot of 2010 Topps Retail from Target, 10 racks, 60 loose packs from feeder boxes and 4 blasters. I've only gotten the mini red backs in the loose packs from the feeder boxes. In fact, every good card that I've pulled has come from the loose feeder packs. I pulled Willie Stargell and Whitey Ford SP's and a Prince Fielder Peak Performance autograph. The blasters are still cool because you get the commemorative patch and the two packs with Target exclusive throwback design cards. The racks had a lot of inserts and I ended up with 6 of the million card giveaway code cards in 10 racks. I guess it all depends what you're looking to collect as to what pack/box you choose.
