There have been several players with his type numbers in the past that were never even mentioned for the Heisman.

You completely missed the point. Going by Pro Bowls, 38.9% of Heisman winners have been all pros as opposed to 38.1% of #1 draft picks

Stat-wise, he wasn't even the best linebacker on an undefeated team this year.

Top notch teams? What is the SEC? Chumps? He did pretty damn good this year. He led the SEC in rushing and broke many SEC single game records.

He was referring to Jordan Lynch, who is in the MAC. Please read more carefully before jumping on someone next time.

Sorry, did not read the previous comment. But give the freshman some props.

All Pros or Pro Bowls? Big difference.

Anyone who thinks Teo deserved it, does not watch college football, his numbers fail to compare to some of the great defensive players and they didnt even sniff the heisman.

It was all because he plays at ND and "the game".

Manziel deserved it as much as Robinson did in 2010. Oh wait, their stats are the same, yet Robinson didn't get an invite.

Just another fly by night SEC QB that'll flop in the NFL, if he makes it that far. I can name quite a few others if you'd like.

The story would be better if Manziel had been Johnny Football while building his legend in high school, but the truth is the nickname is an Aggie invention.

"The reason we didn't call him Johnny Football was because he was an incredible baseball player," said Ables. "He could have played basketball if he wanted to play basketball, and you ought to see him hit a golf ball. If you see him hit a golf ball he can just knock it off the planet."

Smith seems to like the nickname. "I hear they call him Johnny Football now in Aggieland, and it's probably a pretty good moniker.

I don't mind the SEC, but I do mind their fans. They're probably one of the most blindly obedient pack of homers in all of sports, with the innate ability to ignore every other team but those in the conference their team (probably the worst) plays in.

I think they should dismantle the SEC just to make you happy. Only way you will quit whining.

Is that how you translate a fact, as whining? It's starting to make sense.

As you conveniently ignored, I don't mind the SEC, I mind their fans. Your response only supports my reasons why.

Everytime the SEC gets brought up, you're always there complaining. It doesn't matter what it's about, you can be counted on to come and hate. The fans, the conference, whatever you want to say it is. It comes down to bitterness.

And you have to come in and preach the godliness of the SEC, even if it's possible the chips shouldn't have fallen how they did.

Is Bama good, yes. Do they deserve to play in the National Championship, yes. Is Manziel good, yes. Did A&M's victory over Bama erase the terrible performances against Florida and LSU from the minds of the Heisman voters, yes.

Does that make you feel better?

Against Florida he was 23-30 with no picks in his first game as a college qb. I can't believe they ignored such a terrible performance. I'll give you the bad performance against LSU.

Manziels performance against florida wasnt even horrible, you mean like teo having 5 tackles against wake forest, plus if you had actually watched the lsu game at all you would no 2 of the 3 interceptions came b/c of a dropped pass that hit evans in the chest and a miscommunication on a deep ball where the receiver cut it short dez bryant style. I love all people try to act like Manziel had bad games, but if Teo has 4 tackles that is somehow a great game because his team defense did great. Alot of stat skeweres out there if you even thought Teo should have been in the top 5 for heisman

Tajikey hates the SEC and everything about it. He'll make another one sided post and somehow try to flip it. He's never wrong about anything.
