2012 Topps S1 No Name Cards Hosmer, Castro, Braun, Ackley, +++

2012 Topps Series One “No Name” Cards. Missing foil.

There was a Hosmer no name that was recently purchased BIN @ $60. I tossed this one up @ $100 and no bites :-)

These are just printing errors, but they are still rare to come by and some collectors pay big bucks for these. The Derek Jeter went for nearly $100 dlvd. Some of these did not even sell at $4 dlvd though, but that was over a month ago on eBay. Maybe now that the season is coming people will purchase these. I had some sell for $10+ dlvd. I have been waiting to put up any of the "bigger" names.

Unless they have an * asterisk besides the player all cards are $5 dlvd. If you want more than 1 card then take $2.00 off every card after the first.

As a lot these can be had for $250 dlvd obo

Just because one person has a large abundance of something it makes them less rare? Do a search of your favorite player and see how many of these "no name" cards of his pop up. I understand going after me about the value, but to put sarcastic quotations around the rare is not very justified.

I have bought multiple lots of these so that I could get the Tigers cards and decided to sell the rest when I saw the Jeter went for nearly $100 dlvd. These come as large lots because the print runs that have no foil are all in one run that will get through Topps QC.

I know the high prices make people want to give me crap, but my prices are very high because there are very few if any completed listings on eBay and that is how I check market value. I have no problem sitting on these so I would rather set high prices and take offers than to sell for too little.

I just felt the need to explain. Once again feel free to offer.

I never said anything about the price being too high, I just wanted to know if they're rare then how did you get so many of them. I like the no-name cards, since they are different. I put the quotations around rare since I wanted to know if they are really rare how did you get so many.

So sorry for being offended and taking it the wrong way. Reasons like this are why I dislike text instead of talk I know that you did not say anything about the price, but Kansan above you questioned (and for good reason) the $75 tag on the Hosmer.
