How many of you collect Panini SILHOUETTES? Wanna talk Silhouettes..... Come on in!!!

2011-12 Panini Preferred "SILHOUETTES" Jersey & Prime Hobby Talk....

I think this is the best set Panini has come out with to date! It has grown to become my favorite set of All Time!!! Who knows... I might just go for the set, but that's to be seen...

Are you going for this set, or know anybody who is? Would love to chat some Silhouettes with you

Please feel free to chime in with any information that will help us all... like when your redemptions have come back to you, if any big cards have been pulled... Any information at all would be very helpful to anybody chasing these cards. Maybe we can even track all Silhouettes, or at least as many as we see. I've seen threads tracking 1/1's and /5 cards, but there are also rare /10 and /25, so many more cards that we can track. After all, not all cards are listed on ebay, and maybe some people just bust boxes on youtube, or blogtv, and never put them up for sale. Maybe you see one at a card shop, or show... Whatever the case, let's help each other out.

First piece of information I have to share with you is the Ultra Pro Magnet holder size, which is 130pt. I tried the 100pt. but the card sticks out of the recessed area a little and squeezes it too tights. However, the 130pt. makes it move just a tad bit, but better than squeezing the card too tight. Until Ultra Pro makes a 110pt. or maybe even 120pt. the 130pt. gotta do. If you ever noticed PSA graded cards, and sometimes even BGS, they move around in the cases. You can always try it out and see which one you like best, the 100pt. or 130pt. but I wouldn't advise the 100 to anybody.

Silhouettes = Ultra Pro Magnetic 130pt.

I dont have any at the moment but I have to agree with you that Panini did right on this set. Very appealing, limited numbering and awesome patches!! There are a couple I am searching for and when I do get them, I will share!! Good luck on all your quest in whoever is going for this set!!

Just snagged my first of Ebay last night. Kiki, but it's a redemption so who knows if it will actually be made. Excited to see it in person.

you got a good price on it - was it the one 3x? Seen it go as high as 70+ i think. Again that could be it cooling off. Nonetheless the set is pretty amazing - big patchessss are awesome!

I want one, but other than Nate Thurmond, I dont need any of the players involved for my PC (HOF autos w/relics on the same card)

I am going to get one, I love the look of these cards and even if its Avery Bradley or Detlef Schrempf I do need to grab one.

Joe, yeah me too, love how they kept is real limited... the patches are amazing!! Maybe this could be a new set for you to chase after them Golds?

Fraser, yeah man that was a great price! Too bad I didn't see it... we can't see them all. Let's keep our fingers crossed on those redemptions. Pretty sure we'll be fine on most, but who knows...

Cheken, you're right I did see this for $70 as well. I think he did very well. Hopefully they are cooling down... I eventually want to get patches too, but let's see what happens.

IamRalpho, yeah the Nate Thurmond is sweet but he's not the only old school player in there... you got Jabbar, Bailey Howell, Benard King, Artis Gilmore, and others. I would definitely recommend getting one, they look amazing in hand. Who knows... one might lead to two, and two might lead to 50

Verse1, good choice. All long before the patches dry up? Not too long... I don't see a player collection without a Silhouettes Prime. Getting them now is definitely a good idea. Good luck on your hunt.

csmtampa, if you can say you like them, then they gotta be good... lol I hope Panini makes these again, but if they do, I hope they keep them limited again, and don't start making the Primes all to /25 or /50+

armyatc22, well yeah, we all have our tastes, but if you like the Silhouettes, what's the problem getting both!!

I liked the LL's before these and I still do, doesn't mean I hate them... I just like the Silhouettes more. No reason why I can't have both in my pc. I can't see player collectors not having a Silhouettes in their pc's.

forgiven1, good luck! But let me warn you... if you get one, there's a pretty good chance you'll get two!!...........
