Sure he can. Everybody loves a great comeback story when it comes to sports. And even if he doesn't for somebody like me it doesn't matter for you see, I'm a collector of Mike Trout. He's a bonafide Hall of Famer, 3x MVP, the best of his generation before Shohei and Judge showed up AND you look at the love Donnie Baseball still gets with his cards and he will have way less counting stats compared to Trout.

From these price levels, Trout is a low risk, medium reward with higher rewards if you're a long time collector.

He may not get back to the lofty levels we were seeing about five years ago but I'm sure getting in a HR chase with Judge or whomever which put some fire back in his sales. His stuff still sells well as it is.

No doubt, it's great to see a HoF player return to greatness, but let's not get too over our skis here. He's 34/35 years old this year and hasn't been healthy in 5 years. I don't think he's "back" unless he's doing this in mid-June.

He's had great starts to seasons in the past, only to suffer some serious injury that knocks him out most or all of the year.
