Will any 25-26 Topps Basketball hobby or jumbo product tank this much? Barely selling above MSRP and has tanked 30%.

It would be nice to see but I don't think any 2025-26 product will stay down for long.

Once the initial wave sells out, it'll creep back up.

Weak-handed flippers reading all the negativity on here and unloading. For the price, jumbos aren't as good as hobby boxes but it'll all come back up in time.

For whatever reason, many more of the more recent breaks I've seen have had a better distribution of hits as well. A lot of those initial cases were very hit or miss.

I'd also guess there will end up being a bifurcation between hobby (which has orange) and jumbo that doesn't overtime. In general, hobby seems to be the better product (unless you are going for bulk/reptilians) than jumbo or breakers delight for that matter.

Not sure, but I know that particular ebay seller also had Topps Chrome Football retail like a week before release day as well

From a sealed perspective, product is already doing well and will continue to do so as long as there's still 5-6 figure cards to chase (which there are many of).

Well I sold some items at the shop today opened 2 jumbos and a couple of baseball products.

The first jumbo was atrocious. Tyler Smith auto, risacher auto, Isaiah Denis auto and nothing else of note. I mean it was a stinker.

The second box I opened was an entirely different story.

Holy crap, what a freaking jumbo box! Even without the Flagg auto, that would've been a great box (especially, the Flagg true blue RC)!

Haven't had any issues with them and have sold plenty online and in person.

Opened one of the 4 boxes I got from Dicks on release day and just pulled Dybantsa auto /50! Was shocked because one of the other boxes I ripped last week had a Brunson /10 in it so figured the other 3 boxes were cooked. Not sure to sell Dybantsa now or wait until closer to draft? Still sitting on my only Jumbo that I got prerelease.

Im very fortunate to open the amount of wax i do. But I think sharing realistic breaks is a good thing. We are a small populous here on BO but im glad to share the bad beats. I had a couple of midnights that were awful lol.

I love opening so sometimes its cheap blasters and other times its a bunch of hobby. Gotta celebrate the wins and rio through the bad ones lol.

Buffalo is good. Any of the big 3 are.

I’ve also split up product shipments (when it made sense) to get more credit per dollar (but I also buy from them periodically).

For instance, hypothetical scenario below, one package costs me $40 to ship and I only get $25. I’ve split into 2 shipments that cost $25 per (to ship) to get $50 back. Spend an extra $10 to get $25 back in credit.

Something to consider in the future if ever beneficial to you.
