They did have WWE as EQL in their X post today on the releases for the week. Same post had no mention of Cosmic basketball.

I haven't gotten any email from Topps on the two boxes I won in the EQL drop shipping either yet. Would have expected that today since they generally try to get them to you by release day.

Yeah man I did read that, but I was on the Topps website today and it's mentioned under the Release calendar and then under that on Release spotlight. It just didn't say EQL or not and though maybe someone on here had an idea. I guess I'll just wait to see and hopefully not have to block off my calendar for 1.5 hours of spamming in hopes of buying a box lol!

Hmm, I never saw it on their website's "Dropping soon" section of the release calendar but looking now, I do see they have it under the release spotlight. Who knows, I guess?

Literally got my tracking within a hour of asking this. So I guess they are now on their way. Surprised that nothing seems to be live yet with how early people have been getting product. Guess today will be the day.

The wax will start off cooler than expected after how many people got burned on Topps Chrome Football and Bowman Basketball. I think a lot of people expected $1,000 a box at release. That ain't happening. If you are selling sealed, put a good picture of the box on ebay as soon as it gets delivered and set the BIN slightly below what they have been selling for.

If you are opening, that is always a gamble. Especially not knowing what the average box actually yields yet. If you are holding, stash it and these should trend up nicely over time.

these are flying at secondary - all the listings around $900 were bought up very quickly now are 1k+. very good option to sell one, rip one if you want to open

Yup, welcome to the future of Fanatics.

Your choices are to either give them a 1 month+ interest-free loan and take a flyer on a product with no checklist, odds, or details or wait and pay close to secondary market pricing on release day once their hype machine has hit full churn cycle.

From a business standpoint, it's hard to argue with what they're doing. As a collector, I hate it.

I don't think they stay at $1k. The ones that were bought up early were just speculating. The actual market will pull the price back down some. They will go back to $1k a pop, but they will need a pullback first.

As of right now I’m glad I bought some boxes on the secondary market after the pre-release. Now that they’ve upped the price to $900 there should be pretty limited undercutting barring a complete mess up of this product by Topps. It would be silly for people to win boxes for $900 just to list them for less on eBay. It might take a little bit for people to understand that there’s way more to Cosmic than just the autographs, but if 2025 baseball can sell for $1000 then these should do just fine as the checklist is deeper and the upside is higher.
