Default Is Tatum back?

Player of the week and a nice t-dub tonight vs. the Heat with 25 pts, 18 rebounds, 11 assists on only 2 turnovers. His first triple double since coming back.

I'm really not seeing anyone coming out of the east but the Celtics if he continues to play this well.

JB with 43pts, 7 assists & JT with 25 pts, 18 rebounds, 11 assists. Yup, we are so back!

What's he's done is pretty incredible.

Not only did he come back ahead of schedule, he's playing extremely well and still probably doesn't feel 100% comfortable yet.

Celtics definitely favored in the East.

Good point. You can still tell he's a bit hesitant to drive to the basket, but he's doing it more and more.

absolutely underrated, but his ball handling and poor free throw shooting drives me nuts.

Super underrated. He was the eastern conference finals MVP and also the NBA finals MVP. That speaks volumes.

So impressed with Tatum.

I know it's the Sixers, but today was a great game.

25 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists, only 1 turnover, with a plus 20.

the only knock is the three point shooting.

If he comes back and wins Finals MVP is that the greatest comeback from major injury story in sports history?

The return after only ten months to play at this high of a level is extremely impressive, but hard to say.

In terms of long-term injury, probably.

Is it greater than Willis Reed coming back in terms of legendary status?

Tatum took 10 months to come back from an Achilles. Willis had 2 days to come back from a torn thigh muscle.

Reed only had 4 points and they won by 14. Frazier took over the game and is the reason they won.

Don't let the facts get in the way of a legendary story!

What about if he comes back but the Celtics don't even make it out of the first round?

Sucks he couldnt finish the playoffs, but rewind 6 months and we didn't think we'd see him at all this year. Ohh well.

He "couldn't" play in Game 7 due to knee stiffness. Kobe must be rolling over in his grave.
