MCAT predicts nothing outside of success in passing written boards. Some of the worst clinical residents I’ve worked with/trained had the best MCAT and board scores. You can have all the knowledge in the world and lack all clinical intuition.

The S&P 500 has historically averaged about 10-11% every year. Meaning if one invested $1,000 in 1950, it would be about $2 million today.

Warren Buffet has said many times that the absolute best way to invest long term is to simply put your money into a S&P 500 ETF.

Not to take away from the high level of intellect that happens to be on these boards, but there are a few people here that automatically push others up due to their inability to use common sense and logic.
