Actually sold this for a loss last week. I had it listed for a while as I didn’t love the RayWave, but still have the rest of my CJ stash.

You love to see it!

CJ followed me around a bit when I was opening a lot of wax in 2022. I was always a little disappointed when I hit his cards instead of Julio or Bobby. If he can keep his head on straight it could get interesting regarding who ends up having the best career out of those 3.

It would probably still sell for a loss today. It will take a lot more for the CJ market to recover. He’ll need 30/30 with a .300+ AVG.

I'm not upset about it at all. I sold for around 70% of my purchase price.

I'm much happier with the remaining CJs I have.

Yeah, CJ is a “hold” for me. I’m not selling, but I’m not chasing anything new. If CJ cards sold for what the equivalent Bobby’s sell for… I’d be a rich man today.

I’ve been selling some CJs at a profit recently. Still good buys on him compared to his 2022 classmates

Such a good point.

Saw a BWJ flagship Black PSA 8 listed for $2,500.

Imagine what we could get for our PSA 9s if he was priced like Bobby?

The value difference just doesn’t make sense when you compare their production. BWJ is having a better career currently, but CJ’s career isn’t THAT far behind(setting aside his casino binge)

Yeah… I dunno ‘bout that. On top of stats, Bobby also has the whole All-American boy/face of MLB thing going for him. Hobby love is a mix between stats and popularity.

CJ is my boy, but we need to be realistic here.

Correct, confirms what I said above. Really doesn’t justify the astronomical price difference between the two.

And let’s see this year’s stats compared at this point

I'd really love to see him continue to come into his own.

And then my boy Jordan Lawlar can stop getting hurt, and make this party 3 for 3.

I probably have one of the larger CJ stashes here, so trust me, I’m rooting for the breakout to happen.

One is a perennial MVP candidate and the other is an MLB starter, which are a dime a dozen.

Good point, CJ Abrams is the same as Juan Soto or Paul Skenes.

Let’s just let him have this. He has a lot of CJ Abrams cards he’s looking to sell on his eBay store.

“Available for sale” and “looking to sell” are 2 different things. I have many CJs “available for sale” as are the rest of my cards. Everything always available for the right price

They messed with his rhythm by moving him to clean up yesterday...
