So tracking sales it seems like any Walt Disney cards,and any Indiana Jones cards are the biggest chases at least when looking at the base checklist.

My assumption is it's to do with anti-botting, but it's like the laziest, worst for everyone (except for Topps, of course) implementation.

I wish Shopify or some kind of competitor would put in some actual effort into combating bots instead of just making the experience miserable for those who are not using bots.

They already have box/case limits at the account level. Then add:
- Addresses must correlate with one account and be linked to a validated phone number (no VOIP)
- One address cannot be associated with multiple accounts
- Credit card must be linked to one account only; if card is found shipping to a different address = instant order cancellation

Boom, that'd solve a lot of it and is programmatically simple enough. They already require us to log in to purchase. Validation can take place when logging in. Also, with all the data analytics tools for creeping on you with ads these days, I'm 1000000% sure it's easy enough to see if an account is regularly interacting with the site inorganically. Ban ban ban.

Easiest way to tell is to look at the sides of the boxes.

Disney Exclusive will have "1 onsite auto" on one side of the box and "2 glitter purples" on the other side.

Has nothing to do with combatting bots, what they are doing actually makes it easier for bots.

As has been noted over and over it's being made intentionally very difficult for the general public to buy, stretching out what is actually a relatively small amount of product over a long time (30 minutes or more) to create extra FOMO and false sense of scarcity as a form of indirect price fixing.

This is both to keep demand/prices higher than they normally should be in general, and often in large part because they are holding back a lot of the print runs intending to sell at an even higher price to big resellers and breakers, if not direct to the public. On hot products stores are typically offered extra "waves" well above original MSRP.

And that's wild. People on Fanatics getting 8+ boxes, but I couldn't get 2.

I’m so used to getting skunked on Disneystore.com pin drops I went in on this one with low expectations. Fortunately after lots of checkout clicks I got one more. So my total is five exclusive and five regular hobby boxes. Calling it good! Still feel for anyone that missed out. Topps is strange with these exclusive sales that undercut retailers.

ok all good thank you, I’m a newbie and I’m taking notes. I have to make sure my wife isn’t here when these last 6 boxes deliver. She already gave me the look and she is probably the biggest Disney fan alive. I still have DL exclusive boxes with club friends spread across So-Cal that I can’t even have them ship to me for fear of getting choked out by the wife. I don’t even know how many of these things I have lol. Into one of the air-conditioned safe storage units they will all go. I’m not selling. I’m glad I was able to contribute a little bit to the forum by informing about Pin Traders having a 10 box limit. I haven’t ripped a single pack yet. Maybe Christmas morning, maybe not, who knows…back to collecting WWI & II weapons I go

So I sold the contents of my parks exclusive box and made my money back. Went to a small LCS and they had boxes for $139. Bought one. Saw a very fat pack and saved it for last.

One base parallel of Sleeping Beauty’s castle, very sharp.

Fat pack had a card I didn’t know existed. Numbered 11/69, Haunted Mansion Stretching Room Portrait of Alexander Nitrokoff. Very unique card to say the least.

Box #5: Not too much excitement but might've hit my first Hidden Mickey

Box #6: Hit another red white bulb #/5 and Happy Haunt /99.

Across 6 boxes, I've hit the following:
- 3 x red white bulb #/5
- 6 x base auto opp
- 3 x numbered auto opp (1 x gold, 2 x 70th)
- 3 x happy haunts (1 x /10, 2 x /99)
- 6 x gold glitter /55
- 1 x hidden mickey /55
- 1 x voice auto

Also completed my base set (which includes 24 incoming cards from lycca via trade after box #4).
