Figured I'd create a new thread for this season.

Not off to a good start and the season hasn't even started yet.

From the pitching injuries to now Profar going to miss the entire season. We have had a lot of bad breaks the past few years.

Schwellenbach coming back healthy is the biggest boost we could get. Picking up lots of his stuff on the dip.

The Profar thing is wild but f him for being a dumb dumb. He gave away like $16M bc he already made the team and could have rode the bench and still made life changing money.

Anyways on a happier note I am really hoping this offense clicks again like 2023

I feel like the baseball gods have it out for the Braves right now. But I'm still optimistic about Acuña and Strider being healthy. Plus, I think I think Michael Harris and Ozzie are coming back around. Just need the other guys to stay healthy this year. The bench depth has definitely been strengthened, albeit hit with the Profar deal.

Good thing is we have extra money from Profar now to spend. I feel like we need another bat since Profar was going to DH a decent amount.

Riley needs to stay healthy too. He's been a big letdown of late.

Riley SAYS he's 100%, so I hope he isn't lying. As for another bat...that's a definite need. There's nothing really currently available. The only way we get anything of note would be via trade. Murphy or Ritchie would almost assuredly have to go as part of any trade.

Yastrzemski has looked very good so far. Hope he produces during the season.

Yep. We need all of these guys to continue with these at-bats during the regular season. Everyone is having a good spring.
