The Hidden Mickeys sound lame. Would've been really cool if they actually hid a Mickey head in the image, each would be unique and actually fit the concept.

OR since the Park boxes are the only ones currently out, people buying them are opening and collecting? There were what, 10,000 Park boxes? How many have been listed on Ebay or opened in break rooms?

It's possible those people don't sell cards on eBay so they just collect them.

I've seen vids of disneypark fans just opening boxes and not know what's in them or what is and not rare/valuable.

There are 10k boxes of the exclusive. Between shop disney and Disneyland sales, my guess is at least 50% of that sold, if not more. Most of the sales on eBay seem to be the 2 box orders from shop Disney. They're not going enough over retail for it to be that profitable for scalpers who have to get into Disneyland.

There are 42k boxes of regular. I think some are live already, but I'm guessing it's only a few thousand. The floodgates will open on Friday and prices should drop.

There's too many Disney releases happening to keep the market going, but I do like the uniqueness of this set.

It's true.

The person who bought and sold me 30 boxes is an annual pass holder that collects Disney pins.

Although she doesn't collect cards, she kept some boxes for herself (to rip with her family). She asked me what to look out for.

Dumb question as someone new to non-TCGs...

Are the chase cards pretty much always just numbered, serialized, special odd cards? Or are some of those things just "filler"? And is it pretty much just forums like this that help dictate the chases?

Only dumb question is the unasked one.

Chase cards are generally, but not always, serial-numbered cards. There’s still a lot of unnumbered case hits and SPs/SSPs (at least in Topps sports) that are also chased.

You chase what you want. But people on social media (chiefly IG/FB/YouTube) are always willing to dictate it for you. Influencers can impact demand which can impact price though. Blowoutforums doesn’t have as much influence as you think it might.

Thanks to Ebay's moronic AI and those lazy and/or stupid enough to use it, there are plenty of listings for regular foil cards being referred to as "Hidden Mickey" cards.

Imgur. It has the ability to add s, b, t, m, l and h trailing characters. It will also generate "BBCODE" for each image (the early 2000s horror that is this forum you noted). It also has a phone app that allows you to upload directly or drag and drop on your computer. I'd recommend uploading as private so you don't get a ton of annoying comments on your photos -- they can still be seen by people with the link. I made a demonstration post here. It will be annoying at first but maybe it's better that way as then people only upload photos when they really really want to lol

Not entering this one but you should get an email with the subject "Product Drop Submission Confirmation" within an hour I think it took the last time I did it. It's going to be the fanatics one email or whatever their new authentication nonsense is.

Thanks! That’s what I recall too when entering via browser, but this is first using app. My guess is it didn’t take, will wait and see if an email comes through. Also wondering why the app is important to Fanatics, and why I can order on Topps or Fanatics website? Do they harvest extra goodies on me on the app?

I saw a confirmation in the app then like an hour later I got the email for WWE Universe. I never heard back from them so didn't win ... rules are here but don't really seem to detail what to expect.

Heads up, if anyone's still on the fence about buying park exclusive boxes, now's the time.

Prices are starting to rise and available supply is decreasing on eBay (most likely due to the fact that boxes are no longer available in Downtown Disney where customers were able to purchase up to 10 boxes).

Also, reach out to eBay sellers and attempt an off-eBay deal (save yourself 10% +/- your state's sales tax rate).

SCC put out a buy offer for the park exclusive boxes (albeit low at $175 per) and they might slowly increase it (which will also raise the floor price). Right now, you still might be able to land boxes at $200-$210 per goods/services.

If the regular hobby doesn't come out as juiced (which odds say it won't),
I can see the exclusives jump in price within a week and regular hobby takes a dip.

Blasters look like a bunch of base with 2 pink shimmers. We'll see hobby in a few days.
