Yes and not sure. I've seen a few people say Panini, which makes sense given the extra cash they have after losing the NBA and NFL licenses. Probably threw so much at the NWSL that tiny Parkside couldn't compete. It's a shame, really.

Oh this is a no-brainer - its Upper Deck. Alex Morgan signed a big contract with them last year.

I wonder how much the NWSL encouraged this deal. World record pay packet. Her wages now eclipse (and some more) that of Bonmati, the three time Ballon D'or winner, who is also considerably the better player.

It would have been a death blow to the NWSL if it had lost Rodman (as well as Girma and Thompson) to England.

Hoping UD gets the license. Morgan was a big signing and she's a minority owner of SD Wave.

But it can be Panini as they got the WSL license (Sticker album announced).
Seems like they are making a push for women's leagues (WNBA, Unrivaled, WSL) with the loss of NBA/NFL .

Yeah good question. They almost blew it with the initial rejection. Then they passed the idiotic high impact player rule (which I do think will have a negative impact on other higher level NWSL players). I don’t think this is going to stop the hemorrhaging of top players to Europe in any meaningful way.

For sure it would seem like Panini but I wouldn't think UD would sign Alex Morgan w/o another big move to pay for that signing but at the same time it would make more sense to have a face that isn't retired.

I saw a pic on Discord, I think, but can't find it again now. It was a pic of Ally Sentnor on some kind of "photo day" for the NWSL and in the background there was an NWSL sponsors board with Panini all over it. Could have been fake, I guess, but I seent it.
