It looks like Sportlots has removed that order from my orders to fill.

I learned the hard way to be careful about this - if you cancel it will impact your inventory ratio. That may be a non issue, but it has knocked some sellers down a preferred tier.

Let Sportlots do the entire order. I think I've had this twice in 20 years of selling.

Why does no one on Sportlots offer free shipping once you get to a certain quantity ordered? Say like 30 cards or something. See it all the time on eBay so curious why it wouldn't be doable here. Get that the cards are cheaper in some cases but I find myself constantly jumping between sellers because it becomes way less cost effective to order usually more then four to ten cards.

If someone were to buy 30 cards at $0.18 (which happens all the time), the total would be $5.40. After Sportlots fees, Paypal fees, and shipping, the seller would be losing $1-2.

I guess the question would be, could someone sell more cards by raising their prices to say .50 and have free shipping at a higher quantity purchased. I think shipping costs definitely carry a stigma for buyers and with the Sportlots UI now, it's definitely easier to buy bulk from one seller. Maybe it doesn't work for this site but would be a curious experiment.

The system has sellers shipping cost linked to the number of cards sold. If the cost was linked to how much was spend (each seller) then it would be more favorable to the sellers to have free shipping. Free shipping with $50 spent is better for the seller then free shipping for 50 cards. Shipping cost from the box is the actual cost.

Plus, there are a lot of buyers like me that can only find a few cards from one seller.

I’ve sold there for over 20 years. I used to offer free shipping from orders of 100 cards (this was before sportlots box). I stopped when shipping got more expensive. I think on I could ship 100 cards for 4-5 bucks, so on order for 100 .18 cards I could just do OK. Now it 8-9 to ship those cards and I can’t make it work.

The card display is based on seller status, a rough estimate of shipping costs and card prices. I suspect if you tried to price cards a bit higher and reduce shipping costs that your sales would drop as your cards wouldn’t be seeing in the first screen.

I haven't used Sportlots in years. I'm in Canada. I purchased a box order, which I'm going to have sent to me.

What sort of fees can I expect these days having a box order sent up to Canada?

Sportslots - Where box orders take a full month because sellers claim order fulfilled day #1, but don't ship out until 3 weeks later.

This new cart is almost unusable.

I have it sorted by seller to check postage rates...so, all I can see on this screen is the qty of cards in my cart from this seller, and the amount....How the F*CK is one supposed to then see what specific cards they are? Clicking on name opens their whole inventory, clicking on feedback opens postage rates...

OK, let's move to the Shipping Rates tab...OK, now I can see the postage a little easier, but what is this $5.01 card i have in my cart from 643cards? Can't tell here...

Lets try sorting it by Set. Oh, hey there is a list of all the cards I have in my cart...NO seller info is found on this screen though. I guess I have to manually scroll through and look for a $5.01 card. Great. That's efficient. I've got things from 40 sellers in my cart, this should only take 2-3 hours to make sure I am not overpaying for anything. Can't wait until I try looking for a $2 card.

What am I missing, surely I am missing something here...this can't be the way it is now, right? This design CAN'T be intentional, right?

This is just awful design/layout/execution, glad I pulled my inventory down months ago

Eff me, it got worse.

So, back to sorted by set...scroll down until i see a $5.01 card.....what is it you ask?

I'd love to know...all I can tell from here is that it is a 2021 Topps Update Gold [BB]

This is laughably bad. @sportlots, this is a big misfire on your part.

Wow, "group by none" gets what I need in another wildly inefficient manner however.

Second tab of Sort by seller finally gets the view I need...seems you could still have the postage rates incorporated on this page pretty easily...still had to jump back & forth every few sellers to ensure postage wasn't a problem

woof, no wonder I've been putting off clearing my card for months...only cost me about a dozen cards that were scooped up while they were rotting away in my cart
