If it makes you feel any better, I was johnny on the spot when they released on topps site and foolishly went after a case. I think if I had just tried to snag a single box, I might have had a chance.

Being skunked after setting an alarm I didn't buy any overpriced boxes on the secondary. Stupid I know. The only smart thing I did was repeatedly place medium bids on the autographs and eventually land two of the star wars autographs I didn't have yet.

So while it pains me not to be able to join in the fun, my collection gets somewhat better with these releases.

It's almost as if they had intentions for making all of these subsets their own product then scrapped that idea for this.

A few of these subsets/insert sets have some potential for me. I still have a list of Autos I want for my Star Wars collection. I have concentrated on main trilogy and sprinkling of prequel.

That pricing only makes me more confused about this product. This is definitely not a replacement for Antiquities as once thought.

Language indicates there are sticker autos too, which is unfortunate.

Will I try to remember to get one? Yes. Do I expect to be successful? No. My only hope is I sneak in getting a box while everyone else tries to get the cases that will sell out in one second.

If I decipher the odds sheet somewhat correctly, it looks like 8? 10? cards/pack.
$34/card seems typical.

Yeah without this being EQL, Im guessing under 5 minutes sellout like hyperspace. Prob worse as this guaranteed auto in a box.

No box format a day before presale is annoying. Not a good sign when Topps hides information.

This does look a bit like Gilded coming out later this week. (also 2 autos per box)

I'm guessing 2-3 packs per box with a base card in each pack along with a few inserts.
(Finest and Chrome Black base are 1:1 per odds)

Some of the sticker autos are actually really good on the checklist. You have the 20-22 autograph booklets,Dave Prowse,Peter Mayhew, some amazing triple and quad autos.

Isn't it just wonderful how Fanatics states the box setup of every other product in their post yesterday but conveniently don't for smugglers?

Can’t wait for this to sell out in three seconds. Then it be 700 on Dave and Adam’s, and for breakers to run it with 30 spot teams priced high for a low pack count box.

Is it too much to simply tell us what the box structure is? Is it really that much of a secret to know beforehand - like come the fvck on.

Topps' lack of transparency has led me to stop purchasing any product from them pre-sale or on release day.

Speculation from the info that's out there:

1 pack per box

Probably 5 base cards, 2 parallel/insert cards, and 2 auto/sketch cards (with 1 being an on-card auto)

So it's going on sale at Fanatics or Topps?

Its 3 packs with 3 cards each - 3 Hits per all to coincide with the historic Topps 3 release today

This could be spot on. I'm almost certain 1 pack per box, but from I can tell more than 5 cards per box, closer to 8-10 as mentioned above by someone else. Here's what we know is in every box:

Finest Base Set 1:1
Finest Base Set Refractor Parallel 1:1
Chrome Black Base Set 1:1
Stellar Art Reproduction 1:1

And then the 1:2 odds for speculation sake:

20th Anniversary of Revenge of the Sith 1:2
Power of the Force 1:2
Finest Jedi Knights 1:2
Chrome Black Autograph 1:2
Stellar Signatures Autograph 1:2

The longest odds on the odds sheet is Light Side Ultimate Autograph Book Card 1:22,170 and Dark Side Ultimate Autograph Book Card 1:22,170. These are 1/1's. Testing on something else, the Superfractor of the Civilized Age Art Superfractor Parallel 1:2,217 and has 10 cards on the checklist. So that equates to 22,170 as well.

So:
If 1 pack, we have 22,170 boxes made.
If 2 pack, we have 11,085 boxes made.

Fairly certain it's one of those two options, but leaning 1 pack boxes.
