#Falcons DE James Pearce Jr. was arrested Saturday in Florida on charges including two counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, aggravated stalking, and fleeing/eluding police.

Pearce was taken into custody after crashing his vehicle following a police chase.

James Pearce Jr. is accused of intentionally crashing his Lamborghini into his ex-girlfriend’s car multiple times, trying to stop her from getting to a police station, law-enforcement sources tell me.

That alleged incident led to cops chasing the NFL star.

Obstructing someone from calling the police for help is a big deal, though I doubt he does any time. The matter will no doubt take a while to resolve, and a trip to the Commissioner’s List is not out of the range of possibility. I know that’s technically not the same as a suspension, but it’ll still mean he’s not available for multiple weeks before the suspension itself starts.

If I’m Atlanta, I preparing for the chance he misses more games this season than he plays.

Unfortunately, yes…. Though, as mentioned above, the Commissioner’s List can add to that total by being a non-punishment punishment.

A lot will depend on the woman’s cooperation (or lack thereof) with the investigations. I have no idea what their relationship status is and I have no idea if the woman is going to make a big deal of the whole thing or, as happens far too often, want to drop the whole matter.

Yeah some charges she won’t be able to do anything about. But I hope she cooperates. Ladies need to step up and have these men held accountable.

Another quality pick by recently fired GM terry fontenot. So many red flags with this guy. They also traded down into the 1st round last year to take him. That’s why they don’t have a first rd pick this year. Add an injury prone and old, short QB Penix and the falcons are the biggest joke in the league. They’re cutting Kirk Couisins too.

The falcons will not win a SB under Arthur Blank/Rich McKay. Failures. Both those jokers need to go. I’ve lived near ATL my whole life and refuse to pull for them as long as they’re running the show. 28-3!
