Tried watching the first season of The Night Manager but it was done like a spy show written at the Lifetime network. Watched the John Candy documentary instead and liked it alot.

I happened to catch a preview of Paradise season 2 today. It starts Feb. 23, and actually looks kinda good. The first season was something of a surprise last year, and I'm shocked they're getting a second season out this quickly. I'll probably be watching that next month, and may have to go back and watch the first season again.

I keep getting to the next episode and have to wait. The season finale episode 8 comes out Feb. 4th. I’m enjoying the show very much. I just like binging the whole season. I’m all caught up

Watched Wonder Man during the week. I know there's been a bunch of stinker Disney+ Marvel shows lately but I actually enjoyed this show. Sir Ben Kingsley continues to be awesome as Trevor Slattery.

Watching 11-22-63 limited series on Netflix currently. It's kinda all over the place but has this weird pull that keeps you watching.

It stars James Franco who basically goes back in time to stop the assasination of JFK but ends up on all these weird side missions that have nothing to do with his main mission. I just finished Epiosde 5 of 8.

Waiting on Monarch: Legacy Of Monsters season 2

It speaks to how good the "11-22-63" novel is that even with 8 episodes, the James Franco miniseries doesn't come close to capturing the full magic of the book, which is definitely among Stephen King's best. I'd place it in his top 5 this century, if not in his top 10 of all-time.

On episode two of season two. The wife and daughter are annoying but I enjoy the rest of the show. I do enjoy how well they have portrayed the lawyer and ruthlessness.

Black Rabbit on Netflix with Jason Bateman and Jude Law was pretty good

"Landman" season 2 is mainly Tommy getting straight what's important in life, but mostly just sets things up for next season. There's some heavy-handed "common sense vs. woke" stuff towards the end with Tommy's daughter and a college roommate that was a bit jarring in how over-the-top it was, but at this point, it was easy to see where Sheridan was going to go with it, and he got there in the finale. Excellent performances and dialogue, as usual. I especially liked Billy Bob's scenes with Sam Elliott.

Sometimes, a new post ends up on the next page, so one can't immediately see the post it was referring to. I wasn't sure where we were on the overall page.

Billy Bob and Sam Elliott's scenes were the best. I loved when Sam Elliott basically chasitised him about opening the door with this line, "I've been opening doors for 80 f------ years. I'm pretty sure I've mastered the task."

Default What TV have you binge watched recently?

I thought Ep 1 & 2 stunk and thankfully Ep 3 made its mark with me. Egg had me laughing and then confirmed my curiosity if “Egg” was Aegon who Aemon Targaryen hallucinated about in GOT upon his death bed.
I read A Song of Ice and Fire books but not A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. Is The Hedge Knight the actual book from GRRM?

Agree, the episodes are too short

I am cancelling everything but Netflix and Prime. I am caught up on all the regular shows I watch. Most new stuff is original content fluff that I won't ever watch anyhow and new seasons of what I do watch won't hit for at least a year or more. I think a lot of people get caught in the trap of keeping 15 different streaming platforms just to have them but don't really use them enough to get the value from the monthly subscription price.
