HP triple auto with "(Ron)" inscription popped up on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XGA6CMskxZ0&t=385
Out of the ones open to the public and still active, I'm only aware of this forum, the one HP cards small facebook group and the vault website's discord. But people sometimes post HP cards to FB groups dedicated to either autographed non-sports cards or non-sports cards in general. |

I have almost all of them. Sorry, not for trade.
Some really cool stuff out there. But most is impossible to get because HP Artbox collectors are so passionate

Letters might not be one of them. Stuff like the letter from Sirius, Harry's Letter Delivered to 4 Privet Drive or DA Parchment are all tainted in my eyes for being obvious mockups, that far differ from the screen seen items. |

As for the letter to 4 Privet Drive…there were probably half a billion letters delivered in those few scenes, so who knows if they are identical and maybe it’s just one of those. Can’t remember the details of those other examples.

Design being very far off, in combination with other props that didn't have as many copies being off to a similar extent as well, makes this theory unlikely in my eyes. |

they would definitely be fakes or whatever (“well they probably used more than one prop copy”, “you don’t see it all on camera”, etc). Maybe there is a point there that it’s not necessarily screen-used. Artbox seemed like a pretty legit company and would be surprised if they were up to shenanigans with this…of course it all depends on the original source of the relics. But frankly if the letter pieces are questioned, so should all the relics. I’m not gonna take that leap yet and think it’s more likely some prosaic explanation. There was one large quidditch letter patch (like one of those large SDCC card relics) that I remember not making sense though, I think it was Ron Weasley’s.

Multiple identical props being made? Sure. Most props, especially for such a high budget franchise will have duplicates produced and sadly, the film producers are unlikely to have kept clear records as to which were used in film vs which were used as backups and for other reasons. But it sounds like you’re saying Artbox fabricated items just so they could cut them up. That’s not something I’ve heard of and I’m frankly skeptical of your broad claims. I’m not saying you’re wrong, but rather than painting with such a broad brush, would you please share specifics please? I know several in the community who would love to learn about this. Thank you.

What I'm saying is that, in multiple instances, the paper props that were cut up and put into the cards are clearly and significantly different from the props as seen in the final film. It’s a verifiable fact. My guess is that the materials Artbox received were earlier versions of the props, or mockups, so to speak. Off the top of my head, I can think of at least seven different such paper prop card types (DA Parchment counts as one, the two letters count as two more, and then four more). But there are also some additional cards that present issues for other reasons. Last edited by maneonemo; 01-11-2026 at 10:53 AM. |

Someone is auctioning off uncut sheets that are roughly the equivalent of three full sets worth of Prisoner of Azkaban autograph, wardrobe, and relic cards.
As if distinguishing real autographs from fake ones wasn't already difficult enough. Last edited by maneonemo; 01-17-2026 at 10:02 AM. |

Interesting. So the concern is someone could cut the sheets, then fake autos on them?

What is intriguing to me, is that you mentioned uncut sheets of wardrobe and/or relic cards? I have never heard of such a thing and would love to see it lol |

Jeez. Wild.
Also that solves the question zero doubt of that Hermione was the OG Prisoner Azkaban auto and the other one was the POA Update auto….I remember vaguely some question around that.

thanks for the ebay link! This listing quote pretty much answers my questions about the uncut relic sheets
"The other three uncut sheets are front only with nothing on the back side of them. They were intended to be used as costume cards and prop cards for authentic clothing and props used in the Harry Potter movie. Two of the uncut sheets would be the front of a relic card and the third sheet would be the back of the card containing a congratulations message." |

These will probably top $1k.
Any guesses on the final price?

I always worry about defunct companies like Artbox and Inkworks (and before that, Score Board) and potential backdoored items, fakes. I have a number of cards from AB and IW myself and have thought about selling them.

A lot. Thousands. And as an uncut sheet person, really would hope the sheets remain this way and not cut up for various reasons.

What I find interesting about those sheets is the distribution of the auto cards. The only single prints are Watson and Oldman. From the House of Checklists' "scarcity" rankings there were less of Gambon, Thewlis, and Christie (redemption), significantly less of Watson and Oldman. Assuming those numbers were roughly accurate, there would have been quite the surplus of cards that were produced and never signed. This type of scenario may have been the origin of the autopen signed cards discussed earlier in this thread although the one discussed was the Watson POA Update, which this one appears to be the Watson POA.

Personally, I find it difficult to tell (in general, not just in this case) whether these are genuine manufacturer sheets, and whether they reflect the exact final card designs that actually went to print.
That kind of distribution seems somewhat typical for the era. Uncut autograph sheets from Inkworks releases such as The Sopranos, Alias, 4400, and The X-Files show comparable patterns (going by the photos archived in eBay’s Product Research). |

On Goldin a complete collection of Emma Watson autos is going to be auctioned off. Hammer price will be astronomically high
