I don't own any Herbert/Lawrence/Burrow, Allen/Jackson, etc. I don't prospect. Really, it's just another form of gambling and I think it's very low%. The last time I did it was with Skyy Moore autos when he came out of the draft, I thought he would be good, absolute failure probably lost a few hundred dollars.

I only own Tom Brady which is PC mainly, a few Mahomes/Montana/other PC pieces.

It's interesting to prospect with back-up QBs you think can become starters or get moved and compete/start for another team. It's innovative. I'm not sure if it's successful, I think it's a losing propsition. And there's like 3 active threads about Tanner McKee or sneakily about Tanner McKee. I don't really care about him. Wish you the best. Hopefully he gets traded to the Fins, Steelers, or Jets. But also, you don't actually care about Tanner McKee here you just want to flip his cards for profit correct? Honestly.

As someone who mostly just lurks, it’s fun having my name mentioned, haha. This thread has definitely blown up since the last time I was in here.

I definitely still fully support Tanner and pick up his cards when I can. It made my day just a few weeks ago when I found his prizm green wave RC in my LCS’s dollar bin! Seeing him get a chance to start was exciting even if it didn’t go how I expected. Hopefully he gets another shot someday, but either way I will always cheer for him and his cards are a big part of my collection I would never sell. For me, collecting Tanner isn’t about trying to make money. I’ve just always enjoyed his play style, his backstory, and found him to be very likable.

I might read all 64 pages again

Just to confirm what’s going on

I still think Detective Benson and Stabler might have some questions for some of you…

A true collector, rare these days. Yeah I saw a couple interviews with him. Seems like a honest nice guy.

Fun fact: with backup O line, WR’s, TE. McKee threw for 240 yards. Hurts with starting O line, AJ Brown, Barkley, and Goedert threw for 240+ yards only 4 times this season.
Imagine what McKee could look like with starters around him

Default The Thread for Reasonable and Informed Commentary Regarding Quarterback Tanner McKee

Why are we comparing McKee to Hurts still? One has been SEC freshman of the year. Heisman runner up. 2 pro bowl selections. 2nd team all pro. MVP runner up. Two super appearances. Super Bowl mvp.

Tanner is a back up. It just is what it is. He may get a chance to start somewhere but it won’t be to the levels like Jalen has produced. One is a better quarterback and player

Yes he played with back ups but Jalen played against starters and McKee played against mostly back ups. This narrative is just getting old. One is a better qb and one is a 6th round pick who will most likely be a back up for the rest of his career

Jalen Hurts against the starters in DC

22/30
185 passing yards
2 passing touchdowns
111.1 passer rating

7 carries
40 yards rushing

Tanner McKee against backups from DC

21/40
241 passing yards
1 passing touchdown
1 interception
68.9 passer rating

2 carries
3 yards

“Mostly backups”? Which backups exactly and who started two weeks before when Hurts played?

Just ignore the numbers I posted but okay here is your list of inactives who were active in week 16

Jayden Daniels (QB)

Marcus Mariota (QB)

Chase Edmonds (RB)

Laremy Tunsil (LT)

Jalyn Holmes (DE)

Sheldon Day (DT)

So against the same Washington team Jalen had better numbers despite the absolute garbage play calling

Here’s week 18:

RB Chase Edmonds
T Laremy Tunsil
DE Jalyn Holmes
DT Sheldon Day

QB Jayden Daniels
QB Marcus Mariota
QB Sam Hartman*

So looks the same so who were the backups McKee faced? Hurts faced the same guys but he had All number 1’s that’s the difference here

Okay and he played worse against the same team. He also folded under pressure if we’re going to be honest here. Threw the ball away on fourth down and could not deliver a game winning drive that lost Philly the game

I don’t understand why Jalen Hurts is being brought to here. It’s all hypotheticals and what ifs. The truth is one is a Super Bowl mvp and the other will probably not be a starter in the NFL

So you are trying to honestly say that having no AJ Brown No Smith(for 3 quarters) no Barkley no Goedert and no Starting o line for McKee is the same as Hurts with full starters?

Give me a break

Because he did pretty well all and all in a single game throwing for 240 with a bunch of backups when you consider Hurts did it only 4 times in 16 games with all starters
In fact two weeks before with full starters against sane defensive players Hurts threw for 185

I’m saying one played with the starters because he is the starter and one played with back ups because he is the back up

You want to talk about talent around a player then we can. Jalen Hurts rookie year in his first career start playing with an abysmal 4-13 Eagles team against a 13-3 Saints team. No AJ, Smith or Barkley and not the same O-line

17/30
167 passing yards
1 passing touchdown

10 carries
106 yards rushing

You can compliment McKee without downplaying Jalen’s play

Not doing either I’m comparing them because I can’t know what McKee looks like with the starters so I have to go by what Hurts did with starters

If 240 and a TD is ass and it’s his worst game he’s played (and it is) I’ll take it
