I get the 100 pack of cheap-o brand.

They don't last as long as name brand but at least you're never out.

Just found the box of 48 double A’s my wife ordered I know they had to be pretty cheap as they were made in Vietnam. 100 pack sounds like a good idea though.

When I am buying 4 or 8 packs I will use name brands but I found out my wife ordered that 48 pack from Amazon basics off of eBay for 5.69 so even if they don’t last long it’s not a big deal.

I don't wipe like a squatch after an FT destroyer so no worries there.

Was talking to the wife's niece last week. She said Mary was making progress and might be able to go home in a couple of weeks with services.

Got a text Sunday Morning. The nieces were coming down. Mary was in the Cardiac ICU. They were 2 hours away so I offered to go over and sit with her so she wouldn't be alone.
She told me that she had been walking a lot and then drifted off to sleep.

The neices got there and I left. The one I was in contact with told me they were setting up comfort care and sending her back to the nursing home.

They sent her back and she got to spend time with her husband and passed away a few hours later.

She went from spitfire to gone in a little over 4 months.

Duracell or Energizer for me, that cheap crap is cheap for a reason. I usually get 20 packs of AA and AAA.

I see the quality over quantity for certain items but when using the batteries for remotes and electric can openers it really is handy to have quantity especially if they are really cheap. It would be interesting to see what would actually last longer a 48 pack for 5.69 or the 8 pack of the expensive brand at the same price.

Do a test, sit there and open cans for a couple of days and let us know.
