I'm seeing 38.5 on that pre-game, so the teams had blown well past that number prior to the final TD.
I'm sure it's happened plenty, although probably less lately since leading teams are increasingly coached to just secure the recovery and hit the ground.

Considering how LA is approaching the game, it will be a very small loss.

(I don't mean in terms of margin of victory; I mean in terms of how important the game is to LA)
