That was a disgrace and hopefully those refs get the same punishment the refs from the Auburn game got. Apparently you now have to win the game 3 times for it to actually count.

They apparently were the only ones who knew the rules. Don't blame them because the crowd and stage crew was so antsy to get on the field.

So bye week teams were 1-7. 2, 3, and 4 seeds all lost. Indiana the lone survivor in all the mess. Off course, college football will take the wrong message from this. It will be a driving narrative to make sure no teams get byes. I think the correct takeaway is that an 8 team playoff is enough. I do realize a lower than 8 seed is in the final four.

They needed to take better control of people storming the field, but that's as much as security issue as anything else.

They 100% made the right calls in those end-of-game plays. It took replay to get the time correct on the safety, but that was the right call.

That was an outright embarrassment of big game officiating, capped by the obvious FORWARD lateral on that fiasco of a last play, right in front of an official, who immediately signaled that it was legal.

Imagine my shocked face when I discovered it was a BIG 10 crew. Showing the nation what we have known for years.

Congrats to Ole Miss for winning a game they deserved to win.

Unlike most, I've accepted the fact that watching a game with a bird's eye view, slow motion, and 10 camera angles gives us fans a distinct advantage in "calling" a game. I don't pretend that 5'10 refs officiating in a sea of 6'5 players that move 3x faster than them are going to see everything on every play.

Alabama has significantly more SEC Championships than Georgia, holding the record with 30 total titles compared to Georgia's 15

Alabama will always live rent free in Georgia's heads. They are better overall at everything records wise between the 2 teams. Georgia hasn't gone a single season in 19 yrs (2007) without losing to Alabama in some fashion be it regular season or playoffs.

I think the correct takeaway is that rankings are a whole lot of guesswork, especially when you're comparing teams that play in different conferences and different schedules.

Aside from Indiana being the clear #1 by virtue of finishing the regular season undefeated, everything else is a crapshoot...everybody is roughly the same level and anybody can beat anybody else on any given Saturday.

If you're actually shocked by the #10 seed beating the #2 seed, then you don't understand much about modern college football.
