Anyone have this happen?
I bought a PSA 10 and was shipped a PSA 9 copy of the card. The seller then asks me to purchase the PSA 9 because he has it for sale. Long story long he tells me the PSA 10 was shipped but now it's lost in the mail haha. Opened a case with Ebay of course, but jeeze. |

I done it once many years back with a BGS 9 instead of the 9.5. I think I just had person keep the 9 since it was about as cheap as providing a return shipping label. I then shipped the 9.5. Would never ask someone to buy something on account of my rare screw up. That's odd.

Thats a shady response of the seller, tbh. They ask you to buy something because of a mistake of theirs, instead of just immediately correcting it?
Good of you to open the case and not fall for the BS. Actually even if the seller right away said they’ll send the correct version, buyer here *still* should open the INAD case, because you only have 3 days to do that, and after that no recourse through eBay. So whatever the seller sends would take more than 3 days to get to you, and if goes lost in mail or whatever…that shouldnt be your problem. In theory, a case/return really should be opened immediately upon receipt of the wrong card with clear communication to the seller- it will be canceled once correct item arrives (if they don’t want the return), or just proceed with the return on the wrong item.
