That doesn’t necessarily translate to NBA success. |

With all that toolbox talent, it’s shocking how little NBA success dookies have had, even through the Coach K years. Then look yourself in the mirror. |

May be the hardest dookie to ever get squeezed out of the program. Everyone else has been a soft dookie. I think it’s the nature of the dookie - pampered and coddled since childhood. Cooper Flagg is probably a good kid. The only bad decision he has ever made in life was deciding to become a blue donkey. |

There have been more beavers (OSU) and gophers (MN) who have won rings than Dookie alumni.
Heck, even NYU has more alumni who have won rings than dookies. Doesn’t that tell you something? |

Not worrying about Duke. Kentucky has had far more success in the NBA than them, and outside of one player in Jordan (UNC) tell me a program that matches up to them in terms of NBA first rounders, All Stars, titles… Their list of players currently in the NBA is absurdly abundant.

One dude on the anti-Duke side of argument in this thread made the statement that Europe produces the most NBA talent. While that's true, he actually proved my point for me. It takes not just a European country, but an entire CONTINENT to rival the amount of current number NBA players and level of talent that Duke currently produces. Then hater trolls like hermano are resorting to ancient NBA/college history and Michael Jordan to make a case for UCLA and UNC. UCLA is no longer the college talent pipeline that it once was even 10-20 years ago. Forget about the UCLA Wooden/Alcindor dynasty era that existed before the 3-point line and when conferences were only allowed to have one college team eligible per major conference for the NCAA tournament. UNC is a joke of a college for producing NBA talent currently. Harrison Barnes and Coby White are their best active alumni. |

Kyrie Irving Jayson Tatum Paolo Banchero Jalen Johnson Cooper Flagg Zion Williamson Brandon Ingram Kon Knueppel RJ Barrett Grayson Allen Tre Jones Mark Williams Wendell Carter Jr. Those are just the guys who are regular NBA starters. And if you consider Kyrie and Tatum to be injured and want to replace them in the starting 5, slide in Zion and Ingram or Knueppel and you still have a nasty starting 5 team with everyone averaging close to 20 points per game or above. No college except for Kentucky has that level of NBA talent currently playing. And if you want to say Kentucky is better, it would still be damn close between the 2 schools. |
