Sent cards to the vault to sell to PSA, delivered Dec 15. Still nothing. I’ve sent 5 packages to PSA to sell to them since Sept. and each order has taken longer than the previous to get logged in. If I knew it would take 2+ weeks I would have just sold them on eBay auction

That's the problem with a company getting way too big and not hiring enough staff to handle the load. I'm thinking of sending some of my stuff to the vault, but I might just wait a while.
What I really want to see, actually, is another vault built on the west coast (Southern California). I don't want to send my stuff all the way to the east coast vault. I want it to be nearby, so that I can drive to it, if necessary. Maybe a second major vault like that would split the load and speed up the handling time. |

Using the app to look at potential offers isn't viable at all right now. It takes so long for them to process cards that arrive at the Vault that practically every card's offer decreases by 25-50% by the time that you can sell it.

Shipping shows arrived 12/10 (2 boxes with 50 items total)
This morning, everything in the order goes from "To Vault" to "Send to Vault" Again, zero transparency where things are in the process Just really exhausting with how opaque and erratic things are. It takes WEEKS to get any sort of response. I called the general PSA Help Number and was told there is no way to actually speak to a human with the PSA Vault; you can only email vault@collectors.com - which they responded to my email almost an entire month later and the problem had already resolved...a complete waste of time

These never showed up in the app. I finally got them to ship them to me, just got them last week. Ridiculous. I'm done with the vault.

I won't be shocked when the cards that were delivered 12/10 show up online before my vault email gets a response. The Vault is a great idea. The execution is brutally awful.

Has anyone sent something to the vault recently that can say how long it took them to log it in once tracking shows delivered?

I dropped off around 70 cards to PSA about 3.5 weeks ago and they said that it will be a long wait, and to not expecting anything till January at the earliest.
To my surprise, today they started entering them in. Got an email for 5 cards, then another email for 2 cares, then another email for 5 cards, and the last one for 3 cards and the email stopped. Glad they started inputting them earlier, but I guess there is a "cap" of 15 per day per account? |

The most recent packages I've shipped to them have been hitting "To The Vault" status roughly 2-3 weeks after the packages were delivered. Then roughly 1-2 more weeks until they are fully vaulted. Some random cards can be faster or slower. I submitted a few dozen cards to PSA at the Philly show (Dec 10 weekend) and they got inputted into their system faster than packages I shipped them roughly around the same time. I'd say maybe a week faster. PSA is just completely inept on so many levels. But with that said, a vast majority of the cards that I've sold through their vault are cards that I never would have sold for that amount of net cash in the same timeframe. And for the cards that I send in and offers disappear or offers go down drastically, I'll just list them for sale on eBay or just let them sit. When I realized they started slowing down to a crawl, I've simply come to terms with the fact some/most offers will not still be there by the time they are fully processed. And I avoid sending any cards that I don't want to get stuck there for multiple months. In the end, the PSA vault been a huge win for me - especially since a majority of my inventory is baseball. To increase my cashflow during baseball offseason so significantly (roughly $11k in net sales) has been massive. However, as a paying customer (paying PSA for grading, paying PSA Vault to withdraw cards or paying selling fees when selling through eBay, etc.), their delays and piss poor customer service are infuriating. That's why I'll continue to call them out in hopes they drastically improve their business practices. And why I encourage people to grade with CGC or buy CGC slabs (and why I do both those things myself in addition to PSA). CGC has superior slabs, consistent grading, and much faster turnaround times. They have the capability to increase their market share just like SGC did during the Covid Backlog. To state the obvious, competition always benefits the consumer. I hope CGC continues to grow and succeed. Last edited by Oriole Way; 12-30-2025 at 02:39 PM. |

That's why I feel like maybe they need to have more than one vault, spread them out around the country, and staff them locally.
So, one on the west coast (maybe CA or OR), one in the middle (IL or TX), and maybe another one in the east (FL) besides the one in Delaware. It seems to make sense to me to at least have one in SoCal near Santa Ana, their headquarters. And perhaps one in the middle near Beckett. |

I mean, this is what I would like to see happen: I mail my items to the vault ahead of time, then at some point I decide to take a vacation and drive to the vault, present my ID to the front desk and automatically be recognized as a valuable customer member of PSA. The friendly front staff then take me down to the their vault, and show me my valuable PSA collectibles, like a show and tell, and how they care for my items. Is that too much to ask?!!!

After almost a month of PSA received my items, they finally hit my vault. 8 cards, with 5 of them being the same card. Received offers on 4 of the 8, with 3/5 of the same card getting an offer.
When i sent these out, all cards had offers, and oddly enough, a Michael Penix RC went up about $8 on the offer. There is no rhyme or reason why PSA is doing the offers this way but whatever

They are inputting my cards as we speak. 69/72 are in currently. Just 3 more and I'm good.
I dropped off on 12/10 so about a month with days off for the holidays. Not bad! |

One month, I suppose is not bad, but I wish they would have a checklist that keeps you updated... like Arrived, Processing, Cataloging, Listed. And approximate times between each step. Simple stuff like this keep the collector base motivated to use the Vault, because it takes the anxiousness of not knowing what is happening out of the equation.
