When you all reference the EQL Discord statistics, you're talking about the count of users mentioning their results, right? This isn't the definitive count of all items sold via the release, right?

There's an EQL Discord group run by EQL. They provide a list of all members who win.

I lost out on boxes and cases!

Of course as the EQL only shows users who are in the discord group but it provides at minimum a barometer for how much is out there.

I was watching EastWest open ten cases this morning on fanaticslive as one of the main guys lackeys was texting “their guy” to rush more cases to them lmao.

You must not have seen the multiple other EQL release threads in the past.

It should only be used as a gauge for how much they release total. If you see 100 winners in the Discord, they released a ton overall. If you see 7 winners like today, they practically backdoored them all and released none to the buying public. This sums it up perfectly:

Man, that is profoundly depressing. At this point someone at Fanatics needs to just outright tell us that they want the entire hobby run through their breakers. Wouldn't make it right but it would be a welcome dose of honesty and transparency.

And I should have mentioned above. The 0 case winners in Discord is standard, unfortunately. Any in demand product is most of the time 0 winners for cases in the Discord. Case distribution is easily the biggest EQL scam Fanatics has going on. But boxes, sometimes they'll throw a handful or so out there for the public just to say they released to the public.

But it's super fun to see 25 breakers today on fanaticslive each breaking cases by the dozens.

This is what happens when the hobby only cares about 4-5 players. You get people bitching about pulling autos of HOFers/future HOFers. Every box isn’t going to have Griffey Jr., Judge, or Ohtani in it.

Sure, there has to be bad boxes, but it's also not unreasonable to say if you are paying $300 a card for a box then Ardolis Garcia and like Nestor Cortez should not be on the checklist. Obv I'm not paying that so don't really care but feel sorry for some of people that are opening

Serious question. How many people entered EQL to rip vs. resell? I understand complaining for some releases but it really hurts the argument to group everything together.

This is clearly a breaker product that’s gonna be somewhat limited.

Topps Black and White is a niche limited product that more people want than others. It pre-sold with limited fanfare and people could get it. The public release was a mess but the print run isn’t large.

The higher print run products are the ones to complain about especially when the EV is horrendous but then when we get decent formats like Chrome Basketball hangers, people complain they were pulled after being live for weeks.

Fanatics holding inventory on higher print run products to reprice to the public is where we need to be complaining. The ticket industry does this now too and it should have limitations.
