Seeing where wax prices are going and sitting on a decent stash of loose boxes (most that I’ll eventually trim down on), decided to pull the trigger on a sealed case at $4150 shipped (actually had a deal to land one for $3800 a few days back but it sold overnight via seller’s eBay account before payment was made).

Figured I could eventually move 8 loose boxes and net around the same price as the sealed case price so it’s be like trading in loose boxes for a sealed case at no additional cost.

everyone's favorite breaker, FilthBomb, posted a lunar box break the other day. I believe it is their 3rd according to their post about it. landed around $5,000 in cards in total

I wonder why they are black and white -- goes against the colorful imagery of the rest of the set. It would have been a better fit for Black & White.

This is true of cards of veterans -- it's how I PC. But with prospects and rookie cards, a lot of parallels get treated more valuably -- even with designs that are tacky.

Crazy, only 1 week later and it’s already past $600, nearing $700+.

You timed that case purchase impeccably. I tried buying one only 24 hours later than you and I couldn’t touch one within $600 of what you spent. I had decided to pass which was an error. Lol

I got lucky with that one but still wish I landed the $3800 shipped one. Would’ve resulted in 3 extra 2026 TC Olympics boxes to rip.

The outer box is the same. I believe the packs are a different color. Pretty sure they were red last year, not sure about this one.

Damn. Big time fail. I won the Fanatics drop for 8 boxes. Didn’t realize 8 boxes are a case this year and they shipped the sealed case to me without an outer box. Opened it up like a fool.
