Blue xfractors don’t appear to have been packed out.


Hangers are 32 limit per account on Topps.
Best Buy still has them, max 15 with a business account. Walmart has max 5.
Target, DSG sold out.

Approx 7,800 cases, most going to big box retailers. No clue how long that takes to dry up.

I have the 32 hangers from tops Plus 8 from fanatics. And I also have a couple of cases of Megas I plan on opening over the next few days. Looking forward to a couple of good hits in a good time.

In terms of long-term value people hold 1996 Topps Chrome in reverence because it's the first Chrome set. Well this is the first NBA license Chrome set in over 15 years so many of these are their first Chrome card.... that might be a big thing in the future it might not. My bet is it will be. So taking the class of '25 out of it this is still a Monumental release.

Yeah but 1996 also coincided with another great rookie class. Who knows how popular it would be if it was just MJ and vets carrying the set. Also, it was a retail-only product and iirc it was behind Finest for awhile in terms of popularity until people picked up on it.

Yep, most Sam’s Club‘s back in the day got between 120 and 150 boxes of 96-97 chrome …,,depending on store size. I remembe my local store had 150 boxes and I got the vast majority of it. A snowy day and not many of the others going out in weather 🏆

Figured I would post this here to give everyone a sample size

I have been dying to rip a great Basketball product from football which is just yuck anymore so i sold some Moss cards to get some money.

To me this was one of the best rips i had in a long time, not talking monster hits but the thrill of seeing color and hoping for the right names LOL, and being able to hit many great RCs instead of one or 2 teams at best with Football hitting 95% pratice squad guys

I am def converting to Basketball as it is where it is to rip wax in my opinion now.

I did a total of 80 hangers, basically 10 from different stores and 4 of the Blasters that didnt have hangers and some random hangers as well, i am in $1970.00 at cost but with some rewards points i spent 1730.00.

Here is what i figure are the best rcs from reading the post as i dont know many other the Edgecome and Flagg along with the color and autos.

This is what I don't understand....my Target has this stuff flooded. Blasters, megas, hangers. No one is touching it. I walked past it today and didn't even blink an eye. The resell on these hangers as of right now is minimal to break even.

If you want to bust and hope for the best then so be it, but the return on value, outside of the few select people here who post their hits, are minimal.

Much like the lottery, the people who hit, talk about it, but there are many of people 100x over that didn't hit anything at all.

Hangers will in all likelihood be $45-50 each MIN by the regular seasons end IMO. They’re without a doubt the best value rip, plus they’re the most affordable.

Thank you for sharing. Great insight here. Quick question - out of 80 hangers how many pulsar inserts did you hit? Ball of duty, inspirational, etc.

Honestly alot, the pulsars were coming 2 per pack, and other packs would be one Ref and one Pulsar, and the inserts usually fell 2 per pack as well with refractor versions mixed in, but any auto or color was always an extra card in the pack

They are tough pull. Im at 60 boxes and I've only pulled one.

I’m still waiting for my shipment to arrive. Excited to open. I’ve watched a ton of hangers being broke online and I’ve only seen one or two of the pulsar inserts. They are a really tough pull.

The insert cards like serenity, ball of duty, inspirational all have pulsar parallels. They are very tough pulls. With a low print run.

We are referencing the pulsar parallels of the inserts, not base cards.

OK, I see now, I think i only hit one which is in the pic, a red #5 of Tre Johnson

Picked up two Mega boxes from Target. These are the main inserts along with one Cooper base. Looks like I may be getting hangers next time.
