Glad you pulled one since you brought the deal to everyone's attention. I'm about 50 boxes in myself and I'm fairly certain I've lost money even at $5/box average lol. Still worth it for the incredibly cheap rip, I might try and put together the full red wave prizm set, need to sort and see where it stands once I'm done ripping it all

I see it kind of ripping a blaster pack. 90% percent of the time you don't get anything, 8% you get something decent and 2% you get something really nice.

The goal is to pull a color blast, so nice to see it's possible!

For me 1000% lol. I'm pretty sure I've gotten more value so far from 13 blasters than the 49 fanatics blasters I opened and at a less than a quarter of the price lol

I also came nowhere close to completing the red wave prizm set so not going to bother. Overall, can't beat the price point so can't say it's not worth it, but this product really is the definition of trash. A perfect example why retail from either Panini/Topps is never worth ripping almost regardless of the price point. Stick to hobby or in Topps' case, jumbo only

- How many are you missing from the red wave set?
- Would you feel the same way about the break if there were only 1-2 packs per blaster?

16 numbered cards and 7 more SP cards for $350 is not a bad break. The only thing that sucks is the insane number of packs you have to open to get there.

I didn't count exactly, sorted into 5 piles by cards #1-20, 21-40 etc. Could tell instantly this was nowhere close just based on sorting into the piles, but I'd guess I'm missing ~30 cards in a 100 card set. Pretty bad collation when you think about it that each box has 2 red waves so that's 130 cards for a 100 card set which is why I thought I'd be close

No but I'm mostly ambivalent to this, I actually like opening more packs and don't mind it though this stuff essentially took up an entire recycling bin for the week so a breaker's delight type format may be better lol. Yeah, collation is not great. That's almost 2 per player, should be a lot better.

The good thing is that people have opened so much of this someone probably pulled something. What team/players are you looking for?

thanks for the recap - I opened 15 and got destroyed so far - still have 5 more but need some mental stamina before I can open more of this

I would actually say your break was a lot better than mine. I think the gold shimmers /500 from what I've seen are the best looking cards in the set.

And I'm sure the golds /49 are very nice as well but I haven't pulled one yet

I'm surprised you only pulled 1 monopoly man b and white since I believe I 100% pulled 2 or maybe even 3. so truly all over the place in terms of "odds"

Yeah rough product. I'm not complaining because $5/box, but I'm judging the product based on the fact that these were $30/box and $35/box if you bought directly from Panini. The 65 boxes I opened would cost around $2k, and the result where I don't think I pulled a single card over $20 is nuts when you consider what this product originally released as. What this did do is cure the temptation to buy any topps chrome retail . I need the once a year spanking to remember save for hobby case of something worthwhile, never retail

ya I got slaughtered on those, 24/25 topps chrome blasters, and 24/25 select megas

was a nice remember that next time I am just gonna buy a higher end box. but honestly there really wasn't any deals this year so I just wanted to rip a bunch of cheap garbage.

Finally finished my 45 blasters of Prizm Monopoly. Felt light on "hits" but the Tatum Black Money Blast saved this rip. The Buzelis gold was a nice hit as well. Here's the final hit recap

So out of 45 Blasters 1 SSP Insert, 1 SP Non Numbered Parallel, and 8 numbered cards. I dunno if that's good or not but obviously even at $5 a pop, the Tatum saved this from being a small loss. Fun break though but I'm definitely all Monopoly'd out lol
