At least at 8, everyone can play quarter and no one would get a bye. But I doubt they change. May even allow more. NCAA is getting just what they wanted. More money and more drama.

Considering that 5,6,7 and 8 were the final four last year, and the title game was 7 vs. 8, I think there is certainly merit to this system.

That doesn't change the fact that 1-4 all lost in the second round. If it were back to a four team playoff, OSU/ND would not have been in the National Championship. Expanding the playoffs didn’t work, think that’s why they changed it so obvious undeserving teams like ASU and Boise don’t get byes. We don’t need more than 6 teams. 8 is fine as long as teams like Boise, ASU, JMU and Tulane don’t get in.

Wow. Miami just came into A&M and pulled a huge upset. So far through 2 games, both teams that didn't belong have won on the road Just crazy. But...

Shouldn't that be a celebration penalty? I mean, the coach coming all the way from the sideline into the end zone to celebrate with the player? And the player acting like that? Kind of silly to act like that.
