If they went head to head with the Dodgers it would have been the same. Who cares if they just “get in” the playoffs???

Whatever I simply don’t understand trashing them all the time. Enjoy being miserable.

Yeah because that will bring a world series championship home.

No but it’s a decent move, there is just a sense of negativity in this thread I think it’s time for me to find somewhere that has better vibes.

Sure won’t but it’s better than being negative all the time. I would love to see this thread if the Yankees were Pittsburgh Pirates or Oakland A’s level bad.

Aren’t all NYC’ers negative? I’d be shocked if this was a positive thread. That would be upsetting…

I’m a Judge fan and sometimes I wish he would sign with the Dodgers, but we can’t all get what we wish for

Yea I am usually negative but when my brother in law and me used to joke about dying before seeing the Yankees win another World Series that’s all it was was a joke. To cut to the chase he wasn’t feeling himself and was in for checkups a lot 2 weeks ago he was diagnosed with cancer and given 6 months to live. I have to hope he can last longer because he kept me from complaining about the Yankees a lot.

That sucks bro. Hopefully you get more time. My mother lived for years before finally passing from breast cancer. My father is still around over 3 years stage 3 lung cancer. Lunatic still smokes.

Makes realize how unimportant the Yankees are.

Sorry to hear that, when my dad was diagnosed with lung cancer he was given about 6 months, and lived 5 and half years. Don't give up.

Sorry to hear about your brother. My wife’s mom had a 6 month diagnosis, and that was 5 years ago. She is still with us today.

Hopefully you can take him to a game come spring!

Thank you I am glad for your wife’s mom hope she has many more years left. Unfortunately after I posted in today’s thread my mother called and said he might only have one or two weeks left. I have never heard of it hitting so fast. I don’t understand with the amount of checkups and x rays how it wasn’t diagnosed sooner.

Rumor has it that the Cubs and Yankees are the finalists for Tatsuya Imai.

The Cubs and Yankees are among FIVE finalists. I'm expecting him to sign with New York, but I could see another big market team swooping in.

Luke Weaver signs a 2yr $22mil deal with the Mets..... you really can't make this stuff up.

Maybe Hal should sell the team to Cohen so he can get all the Yankees at once.

Haven’t been keeping up lately, do you think he is worth taking a chance on.

Today's rumor from Passan? was two finalists now, but who knows.

I think it's hilarious. Cohen is so butthurt from playing second fiddle to the Yankees that he signs all of the Yankees cast offs.

I haven't really paid attention to him but we need another starter, whether it be him or Michael King, until Schmidt, Rodon, and Cole return because a rotation of Fried, Gil, Warren, and Schlitter isn't going to do much.

The 4 you listed if they pitch to the better part of their potential don’t look bad but until the injured come back they definitely need one more healthy pitcher to start the season.

If the Yankees couldn’t win with them Cohen is being pretty stupid.
