AFAIK both QB's are playing so it should be pretty good.

It's the last edition of whatever bowl as it will cease to exist after this season (I think I heard or read that somewhere). Might be a sign of things to come.

That's uh..... well, that's a breakdown in the secondary if you ask me.... what did the WR do? Run onto the field from the sidelines? There was no one within 30 yards....

I mean..why does he care about Vandy anymore...he's done..

Probably not a good look/attitude for potential NFL scouts/suitors

But then again, he's always been arrogant

If I was a voter, I would have gone Pavia-Mendoza-Love but now the guy gets no sympathy from me.

Sportsmanship was the difference apparently.

I mean, if that's what he thinks about past Heisman winners and the prestige of that established institution, imagine how he will treat fans who boo him or how he will handle coaches yelling at him during practice.

To take to social media, shows that this dude has no spine, is thin skinned, and I can already tell, will likely be toxic on any team who drafts him plus just look at the company he keeps. Not one of them pulled him aside and said, nah dog, don't do it.

Things that make you go hmm

Oh, he was cursing Bama fans in Tuscaloosa this year while Johnny Manziel was running around with him. What a mentor!

At least he’s not getting arrested for stealing at WalMart or driving a million miles per hour like Georgia players. Or bringing friends guns to shoot people like Alabama basketball players. *shrug*

You’re right that he didn’t do anything illegal or endanger anyone. It is sad that we have that as a standard for behavior from athletes.

Having said that, he was already a guy looking at being drafted day 3 if he was lucky. If I’m an NFL GM, I figure I don’t need the headache from someone whose peak is career backup.

They drafted the attitude problem Sanders into the NFL and countless other headaches. If he’s good, they’ll draft him.

He said the F word. And people are having extensive conversations about it. Not much was said about the UAB player who stabbed and killed two of his teammates. Maybe we need to be more focused on the widespread gambling issue we had all across sports. There’s a loooooot of issues to get upset about that are more severe than a dude being upset he didn’t win the Heisman. His reaction to the Heisman is similar to Notre Dames reaction to being left out of the playoffs. Yet somehow, Notre Dame is portrayed as a victim and this dude is portrayed as an ultra villain.

Shedeur Sanders was widely seen as a top-5 pick and his attitude dropped him down to the 5th round.

Diego Pavia is seen - at best - as a late day 3 pick. You’ve stumbled onto the point I’m making: as far as being an NFL prospect, he’s not good.

That explanation of what he did is so misleading that it fairly can be said you are lying about what happened.

You’re trying to make it sound like he merely dropped an f-bomb in casual conversation. What he did was he told a couple hundred media members plus the best living college football players of all time “f-all”.

What’s he gonna say to a coach who benches him? Or a GM who cuts him?

For some reason you seem obsessed with playing a game of whataboutism here.

I said what I said: He didn’t break the law or endanger anyone, but it is sad that you are setting that as a standard. If I’m an NFL GM, I stay away from the headache.

Setting aside your continued whataboutism, I don’t see anyone here upset about anything. Who’s upset? People are giving opinions. I don’t particularly care if he gets drafted or not…. But one is a fool if one doesn’t realize he has hurt his own draft stock (a stock which wasn’t exactly terribly high in the first place).

They’ve drafted dudes who have sexual assault and other violent crimes. If this dude is good, they’ll draft him too. If he is good. And look at social media. People are burning this conversation up all across the country. But they barely blinked at the violent football criminals. LoL! Everyone has an opinion. My opinion is this is a nothing burger.
