39 year old career EBUG Justin Kowalski making his NHL debut as the backup goalie for the Sharks (Askarov is ill and they are on a road trip).

Bummer that Bedard got hurt with 0.5 seconds left in the game last night. Does not look good from the outside, hoping it's closer to one month instead of multiple.

Puts an end to Olympic possibilities too I would imagine.

Quinn Hughes trade certainly spices things up, but not sure that move does anything to get them out of #3 in the Central.

Will be interested to see if he signs with New Jersey over the summer. They apparently offered some pieces, but not to Vancouver's liking.

I'd say Jarry has a higher ceiling, but also a lower floor. Just a lot of variance that seems tough to rely on.

Skinner is more reliably mediocre

This is strictly off box scores don’t really watch Philly but…….is Trevor Zegras back? I know he dealt with injuries etc but feels his name been popping up a lot in Flyers box scores, goals and assists.

As someone who dove deep into cards again during Covid and remembering him being a top YG at that time and cards just being a nice distraction from everything wouldn’t mind seeing him do well (and I own zero YG)

Zegras definitely seems like the change in scenery has recharged him. Unfortunately he seems to have taken that juice away from Michkov.

How does he sign with NJ this summer?

Bedard and Will Smith seem like they are out for a bit. Chernyshov called up for the Sharks

McDavid on top of the points standings. Starting to look like his old self.

Celebrini fastest Shark to 50 points. What I like to see too sick goal and not just assists.

Celebrini will have the career Crosby would have had if he didn’t get hurt. He is a generational talent. Bedard will always be in his shadow.

Celebrini's season just ended freak injury at the dog groomer. Better luck next hype cycle.

He was definitely fun to watch when he started with the Ducks, then fell off a cliff. I hope he gets back in the groove because he definitely has talent. I still remember when he made this goal....

Just a update on current stat leaders

T1.
Nathan MacKinnon
58

T1.
Connor McDavid
58

3.
Macklin Celebrini
53

4.
Leon Draisaitl
48

5.
Mikko Rantanen
46

Crazy two Oilers in top five and an AV just outside it in Necas. Skills aside that’s why I think Celebrini will have one advantage, it feels the successful teams from Stars to Oilers to Avs have multiple guys are who almost a point or near a game. Sharks did have that with Will Smith until the injury, I see you guys hype Nazar and Artem lol but I don’t think the Blackhawks have that for Bedard. Even Crosby has Malkin

I think if Bedard gets that, they are not on the roster right now. Sure looking like the Hawks will get another run at the top of the draft this year.
