I think it’s embarrassing for Michigan but it’s also a great chance to upgrade. I don’t think Moore was all that great but he also wasn’t bad enough to be fired (based on performance).

Yes, we can sit here and shake our heads or dance happily, but in reality Moore's wife and kids are the victims here. Moore fumbled the bag in epic, tragic fashion. He's going to be indicted tomorrow possibly for attempted murder. He deserves whatever he gets.

Hopefully Michigan finds a new coach soon.

Word is that a new coach will be announced in 5-10 days. I guess we'll see.
The source is pretty reliable - I actually knew the guy a little bit from beer league hockey in Ann Arbor back in the mid-late 90s. He's written several books on UM sports and an interesting one on coaching a HS hockey team- John U. Bacon.
