Happy Friday everyone. Here is my latest addition. This comes from the classic Alfred Hitchcock movie. Psycho
PSYCHO Marli Renfro as Marion Crane  Ms. Renfro was Janet Leigh's body double in Psycho's famous shower scene. Whenever you didn't see Janet's face, it was Marli. She had so many interesting stories to tell from the movie. Norman in this scene was actually a real woman. The stabbing noises were created by stabbing a watermelon. I asked if they used a prop knife for this scene. She said no. It was all about angles. While it looked like she was being stabbed, the actress "killing" her was no where near her. Just a wonderful woman to speak to. Very friendly and very entertaining. |
