Oh, okay. I guess that's on par for something like this. (i.e Mega Box)

Topps website does say:

"5 Chrome® Cards Per Pack! 1 Pack Per Box.

(1) Chrome Parallel
(4) Chrome Base Card Complete Set
(1) Topps X Labubu Keychain & Magnetic Case Holder
Look for Artist Autographs!"

Note the (4) Chrome Base Card Complete Set

This means there's only 4 cards to the whole set. And the 5th card could be any parallel from these:

"Refractor

10th Anniversary Border

Artist Facsimile

Speckle Refractor /499

Purple /299

Blue /150

Green /99

Gold /50r

Orange /25

Black /10

Red /5

Superfractor /1"

Ouch Topps ..... ouch!

Definitely a strange release. These belong at the Pop Mart locations exclusively to the casual shopper. Not a fun rip whatsoever.

The Labubu craze is so hot that even copycat versions are selling out

Kids and young adults have the attention span of a goldfish these days. There is such a small window to cash in on a viral trend. Before that virus is dead.

skibidi toilet movie was announced when all that nonsense blew up. Its been over a year and a half since then, and not even a script yet. Thats dead in the water already.

As for the knockoffs selling out. Blame stupid relatives Christmas shopping. I know my two preteen daughters had Labubu on their X-Mas lists. And I also know that my extended family, all 35+ years of age, don't know what these are. And went out and bought "Lafufu" thinking its all one in the same.

Blame ignorance and the holidays for knockoffs selling out.

Yup. I give Topps credit, the mag and keychain holder were great ideas. Labubu is meant to clip to your backpack so other kids know you have one. Bringing that idea into the card pack was smart.

A Labubu doll blind box is about $35ish retail. These should be the same price as that I'd think. $50 is not a stretch either. Asking $100+, to the most likely buyers for Labubu might be a reach.

Good for Topps that most box buyers are just addicts. As the value is in the fun of opening these, like the dolls. And not is the actual contents.

I think without odds no one will ever know. There could be 20,000 on the non numbered cards each.

A 5:27 video for what amounts to 10 actual seconds of content, dumfounded by what was pulled. Cool...

I feel like some breakers are falling into the trap of buying everything that Topps releases and not really taking the time to vet out some stuff that is clearly meant for the Hot Topic crowd… not grown men.

It's wild that there are only four different cards. There must be a licensing issue preventing Topps from printing other artwork. The artwork they used look like original sketches from before the character was published.

Imagine offering $100k for a card without checking if said card even exists.

He's the inventor of the rip card, so he has real hobby credentials. It's still silly but isn't super corrupt. If it was corruption he'd've read the checklist
