Well Brendan Allen derailed the RDR hype train before it ever really got going. Having one round of gas is flat out embarrassing.

Not that anyone on here cares but hype to see Aspinall finally fight again. Just realized it’s an afternoon card for EST too so can sit back and watch some MMA and then World Series later

Best case scenario for Aspinall. He was getting busted up and has never even seen a 3rd Round against a guy with proven 5 Round cardio. Gane won’t be no +325 underdog in the rematch.

Probably should have kept busting him up instead of going the double eye-poke approach but that’s just my opinion. Fairly boring card though, never thought I’d see Dern win a title though so that was a surprise

Meh. Eyepokes happen it’s a part of the sport when you have gloves that leave the fingers exposed. It’s not like Gane has a history of being dirty. Once again he won’t be anywhere close to a +325 underdog in the rematch. This is the same guy Jon Jones ran through in 2:04.

I’ll give guys the benefit who don’t finish fast as him lol saying eye pokes happen is like saying low blows happen in boxing lol doesn’t make it clean or legal. You seem pretty fixated on odds I’ll love to see your bet slip if he’s a big underdog for the rematch. All these people crowning Gane for stuffing a takedown and bloodying a nose lol I miss Francis who didn’t need hypotheticals lol

Yeah but when Aspinall’s been harassing Jones for how long and talking about how he’ll finish Gane quicker than he did then doesn’t it shows he’s very clearly not on the level he wants people to think he is.

Lol I can show you my bet slip for the fight that just happened if you want.

The same Francis who eked out a close decision against Gane and also had a staring contest with Derrick Lewis which he lost.

Thanks for sharing... always great to see an athlete passionate about collecting. Was hoping for a crazy solid collection when I noticed a sealed Round 1 box in the background but it was mostly okay. Cards of himself and some newer semi decent cards.

What killed me.... the vee friend cards. Ugghh over hyped wtf. Still cool vid overall and always collect what you love. Also great to see him support his LCS

I hate his style but you cant call the guy a phony. 4 title fights in less than 11 months is insane. Props to Yan one of my favorite fighters to watch. The O’Malley rematch is an almost certainty if he beats Yadong.

I will wait until the rematch to say 100% but guys he’s beat like Sandhagen and O’Malley aren’t that impressive in my opinion, Umar is ok but nothing spectacular just being a Nurmagomedov means UFC wants to push him. His best win imo was against Yan who was injured now we see he got ran through when he was 100%. Not that you did but people will be like “oh he fought so much this year” that’s his choice and he got paid well so I don’t give him leeway unless he demolishes Yan after being away for awhile same way I didn’t give Yan benefit until I saw how he did him the second fight at 100%.

The Pantoja fight was way more interesting to me anyway, sucks how that went was starting off like it woulda been heat.

Yan was injured in the first fight and that’s why he lost. Merab was injured and sick in the second fight and that’s why he lost. Yada yada yada who really knows.

As for O’Malley, Sandhagen, and Nurmagomedov, that was the champ and two Top 5 guys. Who else was he supposed to fight?

Melquizael Costa got robbed of a Performance of the Night bonus on Saturday. I think he just may be the real deal after kind of stumbling out of the gate to begin his UFC career.

I also did a bit more prospecting and picked up some Daniel Marcos stuff as he really impressed me in his last fight against Miles Johns. His cards are dirt cheap for a guy who’s 18-1, 1 NC.

He’s fought some Top 15 guys I believe. A Wikicapper like yourself may not comprehend this but you can assess a fighter’s skillset even if they’re not fighting Top 5 guys yet. Marcos passes the eyetest for me so far. Rock solid standup along with good wrestling/jiu jitsu is going to be a problem for anyone.

A person who assesses/judges fighters based on their Wikipedia page as opposed to actually watching their fights.
