First Buzz: 2025 Topps WWE x BAPE wrestling cards

Just opened two boxes that I got in person at the survivor series store in San Diego.

The card stock is actually super nice. I think 100pt and has a very nice matte finish to it. Very similar to last years of Triple Threads if you are familiar with the base from that set.

No auto but did pull a nice Stratton /75 Pink color match and one of the animated inserts or Bron Breakker #d /5

Edit: prob more like 70pt thickness
Edit 2: did one more box and hit Baby Milo Rhea Ripley Insert /50 and Cena base /25

Looks like we gotta wait for shipment arrives before discussing this further ugh.

I didnt realize these cards are thicker than normal cards

New ebay listing go up every now and then but that's probably only from people who had access at the superstore

I think these ship out Friday the 5th from Topps then the 12th from Complex? I am not sure

The Baby Milo inserts are selling incredibly well, seems like a really fun (and safe) break if you got in @ topps price

Topps just prints money. Despite what I said above it’s crazy I see an Impeccable auto from 2022 went for less than half of her BAPE auto lol both /25

Product is brand new. How do we keep falling into this same trap? Of course BAPE autos are gonna come out of the gate strong, then they’ll drop. Come back in 6 months and compare what the autos are going for.

I forget if it’s been said yet but autos are 1:12 boxes so 1 per case.
I’m sure that will play into their higher prices as well

I have 4 boxes waiting for me in South Point Ohio, better known as the worst Fedex ground location East of the Great Mississippi...have had packages sit there for weeks before going out...Supposed to be here Tuesday lol
