Allow me to clarify. Of all the blasters I've opened since release. I've pulled 2 PVC. They were both on the other side of the divider. I experimented on my new blasters. You can angle the sealed blaster and tell if there is that single pack inside.
The 3 blaster results: jack squat |

I personally don’t think DA (or some trusted hobby dealer) is micromanaging boxes like that to figure stuff like that out…likely just pulling boxes from sealed cases. Have seen enough posts of “bought 3-4 boxes from DA, got a purple vc”. But a random straggler box on ebay…yea I dunno. I might stay away. Bummer about the 3 boxes. Looks like we both got skunked. I think they’re probably 1 in 50 boxes or so…guess we never had much of a chance. I saw when DA rolled them back out it’s now $64.95 per box….steadily increasing on an already bad deal, d’oh. Fenian’s Black Friday deal looks amazing compared to that.

Some “food” for thought….(in addition to all the other food today
).What the heck is this? Posted in a marvel group on FB. ![]() It’s not what the pmg looks like..red pmg Sauron doesnt have that white area at bottom, but it has white on side edge…so it’s not a red pmg. It looks more like a Plexi but thats red for some reason. Error card maybe?

That looks custom. Like an original 1992 mm that someone coated. The white on the bottom is still textured which doesn’t match anything from 2024 mm, and it doesn’t have the marvel stamp on the lower left so it’s not from 2016 mm.

![]() But it’s red…odd. I don’t think it’s a 92MM bootleg since the bottom name and text box match the 92 Platinum and not the OG 92 set. Wondering if this is maybe a clear cut error that looks like a pmg but is not. It’s either that or a custom clear cut, but the poster seemed pretty legit in just coming across it randomly and surprised by it.

To me it looks like someone just slipped a blank piece of red paper behind the clear cut.

Did they post the card back? I would think that would show what the “error” was intended to be.

![]() Very well could be. I think it also could be an error, but without holding the card in hand, I just don’t think there is a way to know from the pic. I offered to buy the card for a very generous price, being an error collector (and then I would be able to tell if it was the real deal or not)…but didnt get a response.

Ive been using COMC’s new sales data tool (part of a Black Friday promotion) to glean insights about 92MM platinum sales trends. Holy cow…for higher end stuff- seismics, PMGs, Oranges, emeralds etc…..prices were low back in Dec 2024 up through spring this year. Saw some red pmgs going $25-30ish last Dec (even as a common, thats way low in today’s terms). Other pmgs that sold for like $100-150 back in January are like $300-400 cards now. Spidey red pmg in mint 9 for not much over 1600 back in may. These prices are all low.
Looks like higher end stuff (/100 and lower) has aged nicely in this set over a year…prices all up. I do think a lot of the lower end stuff (hololofoils, leather, blue traxx, lenticular, pinks etc) havent done as well…but that’s because people finish off their sets in those, then move on, taking them out of the demand equation for that parallel. But since most of those higher end sets don’t get finished, there will always be good demand with them .

Purple crystal vc’s have kind of taken off, so not surprised to see the best one getting that traction. It’s actually the best card to pull in the entire blaster run. There were a couple sales so far, but I suspect this is on track to surpass those easily…goes to show again that key cards have gone up in this set over this year.

Got my emerald surge back today
![]() Sorry the resolution isn’t the best. Just a quick upload Thoughts on Keep? Or Sell? My brother thinks now is the time to sell while the interest is still around for these cards. |

I agree with this. With spider-man you don’t have to worry too much about it depreciating. They retain their value, and especially with the rare cards. Demand never slows down for top characters numbered that low.
