The actors A&G has had sign are nothing short of amazing. Harrison Ford, Gene Hackman, Kevin Costner, Di Niro, Sylvester Stallone.

Reads like a whos who of major movies of my teens. The only thing they can do to make it better is get Arnold, Al Pacino, and Bruce Willis (probably not possible).

He wasnt really a thing until the 90's, by which point I was an adult and thereby he was not included on my list of actors that were prevalent in my teen years.

I would love them to get Arnold Schwarzenegger to sign.

For those still waiting, I spoke to Topps and they said the black frame De Niro's will be shipping soon. They had to manufacture black frames to complete them and this has been done.

Well, I finally demanded Topps replace my 2x open redemptions for the black borders. I waited long enough - over two years! With their 200% policy and an /10 comp being established at $2500+ it seemed like a no brainer. Topps should comp these at around $2k-2.5k now and with 200% that’s $4k- 5k each. I guess I’ll be getting some sort of replacement package in the mail in the next couple weeks.

You leaving out Godfather 2 was wild.

He rattled off some classics in the 90s, with Casino, Heat and Ronin. I can never not watch those films.

The dude knew how to play a total psycho -- Untouchables, Cape Fear, The Fan. Movies aren't like that anymore.

Glad I at least secured those because if the /25 are never fulfilled it’s likely the rarest Ginter auto. It’s leave it at a print run of 15. The 5x Gold from Ginter X and the 10x red inks. I don’t think any others are confirmed that low.

There’s been some huge ones. I’d say Harrison Ford one rivals De Niro. I’d love to get a Ford but I can bring myself to pay the piper for one. But there’s other like Costner, Sarandon, and Hackman that are pretty big in their own right. These are just off the top of my head. Tim Robinson will likely continue to escalate in popularity as well although obviously not comparable to De Niro or Ford.

Stallone and Shatner don't nearly have the chops De Niro, et al have, but are pretty huge names also.

Oh yeah! Forgot about those two. And Pacino was just announced for 2025. Damn. Part of me wishes I had known that before requesting that replacement. lol.

His performance in the film was pretty nondescript. He has so many other films where he completely transformed himself into a character. In Godfather 2, he almost seems to be holding himself back as an actor -- his character is so reserved, stoic and calculating.

And those are the reasons why he won. It’s called Underacting. He literally won best supporting that year for it.

I also think the story was completely unnecessary. It didn't really add much to the character, beyond showing how clever and strong-willed he was as a younger man. His personality seemed to stay constant throughout -- there was hardly any character development or transformation like with Michael in the first film. It was a plot-driven story with the goal of showing how Vito rose to power, but it offered little artistic value, like almost all prequels.

And it's painfully obvious to me De Niro was trying hard to hold himself back in the role for the sake of staying authentic to the Brando performance -- De Niro was young and hadn't yet established himself as one of the best actors in movies.

I'd imagine the Stan Lee autograph is highly sought after as well. As an actor he had a cameo in how many movies?

Personally I'd be elated if A&G did a triple auto. of Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland. I'd drop some good coin for that.

I think the reason why Cappola showed Vito's backstory in the Godfather 2 was so that he could recreate "Little Italy" and make a period piece -- it wasn't because Vito's rise to power was important for him to explore. It was about exploring Italian American history and set designs -- not character development or exploration. De Niro isn't even Italian!

That said, De Niro is an iconic and accomplished actor. His A&G mini autos should be highly sought-after.

He previously had autos released, though, unlike Stallone. I have his 1998 Silver Age autograph card -- probably his most recognizable auto card.

Stallone had autos in 2016 Topps The Mint.

His ginter came first. He also had some signed Rambo buybacks as well, I believe.

Seems like triple autos aren't really A&G's thing, but if they offered autos from all three in the same set, they would likely have strong interest from a lot of collectors/fans.
