Submitted through a group sub on July 16. Grades populated in the pop report by mid-August. Beckett still hasn’t sent the cards back. Supply chain issue for slab materials? Taking more than 3 months to encapsulate a card seems odd.

They stopped accepting group submissions so you can’t go to your card shop and submit underneath them at the moment. All the companies are falling behind a bit and I think this is a proactive measure to prevent the backup that happened underneath Covid.
You can still submit individually yourself. Honestly that is the safest method you don’t know if your submitter might switch out a great card with an inferior condition card in a group submission. |

Submitting cards yourself is a great practice. It lowers the amount of repeat nonsensical submissions, it encourages you to learn how to properly pre-screen your cards, it saves you money in the end (reduced low-to-no-return card submissions), and it prevents some shady group submitter from intentionally or unintentionally swapping/mixing up your submitted cards within a submission (yes, this unfortunately happens).
New release modern base rookies don't need to be graded. If you feel strongly about the trajectory of a player, protect the card and see what happens over a few years. Most people weren't rushing out Mahomes base back in 2017.

Nope. Still waiting.
My Express parcel is also still sitting at the local airport waiting to be returned too due to a clerical error from my post office, which means i'll be highly unlikely to get it back by Christmas now, rendering the express service moot ![]() ![]() ![]() EDIT: Grades just popped on the 32 card base order. All I can advise people just make sure the card is something they can grade through BGS and doesn’t have to go through BAS. A Production Proof auto on a card for Leaf has to go through BAS even though it is an auto card they produced and an auto on regular leaf card can go through BGS as long as it is one Leaf backs as one of their auto cards. Learned my lesson. I didn’t realize that and thought it was fine and responsible for part of the delay on that order and accept that responsibility. That said from the moment I first responded and got a response back they said they handled the rest of the delay is on their team from about July on. My two orders since then have been moving through smoothly. Waiting on the card verification on my standard order for 1 card, but my 11 card order every card was verified. |
