Hello! I'm looking for a little help with an older product.
2002 Pacific Heads Up came with a bobble head in each box. Looking at the Trading Card Database I see a checklist for the 14 different bobble heads. Trading Card Database also has a checklist for Bobble Head Redemptions. It has the same players on it. Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the two? Were these just randomly inserted redemption cards for a bonus bobble head? Does anyone know what one of these redemption cards looks like? Thanks |

It's been at least 20 years since I opened any of this, but from what I remember of it, there was a retail box you could get from places like Wal-Mart and a hobby box. The hobby box had the bobble head as part of the box. The retail box did not, but it did have randomly inserted redemptions for one. I opened several boxes of retail, and do remember getting at least one redemption, but this was after the redemption expired. This link has who the redemptions were:
https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/s...ad-Redemptions I can't say I know for certain if the hobby boxes had redemptions as well, they may have just for an additional chase, but I believe they were the same players for both, as I couldn't see them having to make different bobbles for the same product. As to what the redemption looked like, it was rather plain, and just text saying "you got a redemption for this player's bobble head. Fill out your information and send this card in to get your bobble head" or something along those lines. I'll see if I can find an example of one... although no luck so far finding any Last edited by bojesphob; 11-24-2025 at 03:19 PM. Reason: mathing is hard |

The owner of Pacific Mike Cramer looks to have a bobble head too. I don't see him on any of the football or hockey checklists. Any idea where that one comes from? |

His bobbleheads were a personal promo from him, if my memory serves me well. They were given out to higher level buyers, those that bought a ton of their product. Or just given away by Mike himself to people he liked. If there was a Pacific Corporate booth at a major show like the National. Mike would be sitting there with some of these on his table. And give em away at random. Or you can earn one with a wrapped promotion or something at the show. People did go nuts for them back then. Mr. Mint, if you know that dealer as well. Copied the idea later. And he started giving away his own Bobbleheads too You couldnt pull these. You had to be given one. |
