Panini Minecraft is out at stores with megas and blasters. I've also seen Upper Deck Halo Legacy Collection blasters in stores, but I avoid UD retail because of how horribly they nerf retail odds.

Found DC annual and overall, base set looks good. Lots of good images selected and the blue parallel is a rainbow-ish foiled blue. Doesn't look far off from a blue pmg, just not a super rich blue if that makes sense.

GameStop has some packs of a couple of the Marvel sets that were rushed out at the end of Upper Decks license. I saw Avengers and Women of Marvel today at my GameStop for roughly $6 a pack (didn’t buy them) but I think packs of that weird late release Spidey set should be floating around as well.

They are mixed in with the gaming packs and were hanging on the wall. I might go back tomorrow and buy some. They look like this…

LOL, I thought so, too. They must have dumped them on someone else.

There are 2025 Fleer Brilliants Superman blasters and mega boxes out at Gamestop, Target, and Walmart, with retailer-exclusive parallels.
Also upcoming is 2025 Panini Squishmallows: Halloween, a handout product like Score-A-Treat or Haunted Hoops.

I also saw Cardsmiths Space: Galactic Edition Collector Boxes at Target today - $40(!) per hanger box. Ludicrous.

None of the "hot stuff" (Disney, Spongebob, Star Wars) ... just this at Walmart today:

It's funny to see Marvel cards sitting on shelves now. Even the Marvel Annual sets would disappear quickly just a year ago...

Target has booster sleeves of "Kayou My Little Pony Friendship Eternal Cards Moon Edition" now, $3.99 for 8 cards. The Chinese invasion has reached retail...

My favorite pull was a Songbird Serenade UR, Sia's character from the movie. Really nice textured foils on these.

I saw booster sleeves of Khadou Italian Brainrot cards at Target today. I absolutely refuse to knowingly buy AI generated imagery, even of it's the most "vital" property represented on cards, the property that's most popular with actual children, y'know, the people who should really be buying this stuff.

I’ve never heard of that. I am a sucker for AI art stuff though. A lot of it is very surreal and humorous. I also like browsing r/aivideo on Reddit for a boatload of laughs.

I wonder if COMc would even list this set? Is it considered unlicensed? Or legit?

More Kayou stuff at Meijer today, $1.99 packs of "My Litte Pony Friendship Eternal Cards Fun Moments Edition" and $3.99 booster packs of "Naruto Smriti Collectible Card Heaven Scroll". They're cheap, shiny, textured, colorful, use ORIGINAL ART, and FUN. They're rippable and full of subsets so you don't feel like you're drowning in base.

The poorly recieved facsimile autos in Disney sets are a ripoff of the Chinese sets, but there's a lot to be admired about them that the Western sets aren't copying. The printing technology is WILD and they're CHEAP. MLP isn't a perfect fit for the American market, but if the barrier's just licensing, they'll be very successful here once something hits.

I am off through the end of the year and did some shopping yesterday. Target had a bunch of Batman Metal blasters and not much else nonsports wise. GameStop at the mall still is sitting on the stupid Superman set and also Batman Metal. I really thought Batman Metal would have been a better product and helped UD convert some people to DC card collecting. It’s a pretty underwhelming set.

At Target today I got a pack of Gamers Redemption Fisch cards (Fisch is a videogame on Roblox), $5.99 for 5(!) cards and one Roblox code card, in Pokémon-style cardboard sleeves. The cards are nice with spot gloss and holofoiling, but with a common back like gaming cards.

The price is a bit too much for what you get (still on the side of "generally reasonable," though), but the art looks cool and the higher-tier rarities look pretty well-done (https://gamersredemption.com/pages/fisch). Maybe the code cards are worth something, but I don't play videogames (and have a specific ethical problem with Roblox as a platform for children. This game seems fine but there are a lot of "questionable" games there). This seems like a good first effort - affordable price point, printable to demand (only rarity tiers, no numbering or limited printing), and based on a property actual children care about.

Gamers Redemption is a Collect Awesome brand, the same company behind Figpin and Cybercel, and an upcoming enameled card product called "Fusion." I'm looking forward to what else they put out.
