Seems to me that the one being built would be the equivalent of a 1st Bowman card. The pre-paint photo would be the 2nd-10th Bowman pre-rookie card. The first picture of the whoo-whoo in actual use would be the real rookie.

Mine is Billy Milligan.

I wish I would have bought hundreds back in the 1980s.
They were inexpensive then.

Not any more.

At a shop in a flea market around 1985 I paid $10 for a 1911 Mecca Double Folder of Johnny Evers and
Frank Chance!

Sold it about 20 years ago for $75.00.

Should have kept it.

SOMEONE is doing a gold set of Topps basketball. That prompted me to lookup the Towns card I have on eBay.

Explain this to me: the recent sales of that card are in the $1-$4 range. Yet, someone is asking $417 (plus $5 shipping). Another….person (for lack of a better word), wants $350. Why do these….people… ask 100x more that what the card is actually selling for?
