If theres lots of new blood buying the product, frequently people have no clue what they are looking at. So those cards you need just get buried in boxes in a closet. Anyone who collects A&G no number mini, extended mini, and any back variations at all can probably tell you stories.....Not to mention the guys that DO list the cards on ebay but list them incorrectly so that your saved searches dont pick them up....

Absolutely. I made sure to take care of the low end parallels first due to the sheer number of people that couldn't tell the difference between Sandglitter/Holo Foil and a bunch of people listing Rainbows as holofoils etc. I've already picked up a few of the low #'d that were straight up mislabeled as well.

How did you find collecting the clear /10? It’s spread across all products which means 1 maybe 2 copies max per player per product.

I have not seen a bunch of the checklist yet to surface and only a handful of players with more then one copy pop up on eBay.

Still don't have the clear /10 for my guy nor have I seen one listed. Managed to get the Wood already and one of the Black Rainbow /10s, but yea the clear I imagine is going to be one of the tougher ones.

Pulled this from a hanger today. Megas, blasters and fat packs have yielded zero autos for me.
Pulled a total of 4 autos and 2 rookie relics all out of hangers.

You do realize this has happened for the entire of history of cards, right? There is a reason certain vintage packs sell for more than others depending on which card is on the bottom of the stack. Sequencing is not new and actually isn't even controlled by Topps. It's all printing/packing logistics by whatever 3rd party handles that.

looked at some cards of a rookie I wanted to buy and most of this stuff is just garbage. Most of the insert sets are fugly, too many parallels (parallelera)

no way the prices stay this high...

I bet it falls under MSRP from topps eventually

how much were hobbys/jumbos direct from topps? I bet it falls under that eventually

Direct from Topps was:

Jumbos $230
Hobby $110

One thing that keeps these a bit higher are likely the silver packs - they still sell for around $40 apiece.

However I agree that once other products come out, people will realize how basic this set is and demand will decline.

$$ cards. I have seen breaks where it does happen.
I think if you pulled Cooper Flagg RC and maybe a nice parallel of Kon out of both you’re likely not as upset.

Great! Just like baseball and Star Wars.

That’s 15 retail packs plus a jumbo card plus a variation card PLUS an insert or a crackleboard parallel card in every Costco retail pack.

With similar odds for hits compared to retail, and at less than $3 per pack, this is a fantastic buy.

You really can’t beat this deal in today’s market, it’s cheaper than two blasters (14 packs total).

Was looking though black Friday deals and noticed that on Black Friday Target is selling their version of blaster boxes for $35. Is this anything different than the regular blaster boxes that just came out?
